In-Game Bonus Extented?

When there's an in-game bonus going on I think there's a way to make them last longer.

 

In the past what I did was never turn off my console and leave my game running or I'd put my system on rest mode.

 

Then I could continue using the in-game bonus.

 

Does this method work?

Hehe unfortunately not. It'd only be possible via certain normally-not-available things or through cheating. I'd probably have to write up a script for that from scratch too, but I suppose in that case the only reason why I added the extra stuff into that post was to say "it's possible to control the tunables".

EDIT: Best thing to do otherwise is just stay in the same session or use that rest mode on console if that works for you. I'm sure the same method was used for retaining the snow, after it had gone, right?

I uses to do that on ps4, but I don't like to think I'm missing out on whichever new vehicle has been released.

I'm kicked out my session by a message saying "an important update smh return to story mode", I will try to see if disabling Steam options allows to keep the bonus.
