My time is running out

I have 16 days left of Playstation+. After that I'll be blocked from GTAO.

Paying another $60 for another year kinda sucks since I don't use anything else from PS+. OTOH, I have plenty of cash and assets in GTA and I'm not bored yet.

 

Are there any legitimate sales/discounts on PS+ in the US? XBLive seems to be on sale somewhere every week.

You know it's funny I ran out on December of course I missed all the sales and I was thinking on just not getting it but I had the auto-pay on my ps4 and after that I saw another sale lol good luck I haven't seen one though

Not cash-strapped, just looking at value/$$$. $50 is OK, $60's bit of a stretch. If I can't get it on sale I might let it lapse for a bit. I could stand a forced break until I find a sale or something cool shows up.

 

I'm just annoyed I'll have only a short time with the Hustler.

E:it is 14 days and needed more time you can delete and create a new one haha but I imagine is super annoying to keep that up and you need a new dummy email with each new account.

 

Ee;for those that don't know you have to make the ps+ account the primary account so your main account can use the ps+ features.

Unfortunately, I'm not. I don't see anything on the horizon I'm interested in, otherwise the PS+ price would be justified.

 

Is PS+ required for Netflix or Amazon Video on PS4?

Go on pc if u can. Or make a bunch of sub accounts and use the one day trial of plus from them. Make them ur primary acc in settings

I can't recall ever seeing a sale on PS+ subscription here in Canada, not sure about elsewhere...

 

I'm sort of in the same boat as you in that my sub is essentially just a GTAO subscription since its been the only thing I do on my PS4 aside from video streaming for a long time now. Not crazy about it but on the other hand, for the amount I DO play GTAO, $7/month is still pretty good value, imo.

 

Plus Monster Hunter World and RDR2 will hopefully bump up the value in the near future, but that's beside the point.

Pay to play smh. When its that time of the year I'd recommend stacking on some codes that cost 39.99 or along those lines. PS Plus isn't worth 59.99

Can't really give you PS games suggestions as I'm on X1 but my Gold membership runs out at around the end of February and with real-life sucking my time up I rarely turn on my Xbox. I probably turn on my mirror more than my Xbox and that's something that rarely happens. Until GTA:O gets a major update that adds new PvE things or does changes to the current formula in how cash is made then I doubt I'll renew my Gold membership. All other games I play can be played in single player. I think the best way to get good suggestions quickly is to check any sales going on that you can afford. I bought an SP game, sure, but if you can find a MP gem that you can hook up with friends over then it's worth renewing your membership.

I run out near black friday and usually find PS+ for around $45

Used to find it cheaper obviously when it was only $50

 

If yours runs out right around this time you should consider looking for renewal earlier, you can just apply it when you buy it and it'll stack.

It's a pretty neat coincidence I just so happen to have a code for free 30-days of PS Plus right with me (you get that as a bonus for buying Destiny 2).

 

I guess I can put it to good noble use and buy you some time since I'm never gonna use it anyway.

 

It may or may not work though. Though it IS a new code so I don't even know why am I doubting if it'll work or not.

PC might cost nothing for online, but FWIW, I think many of us would pay 60 bucks a year just to keep GTAO free of mod menus, which I gather the PS4 currently still is. The amount I play GTA it feels like it's worth the price of a new game every year, but value for money is of course subjective

Just note for the future, the best and constant sale on PS+ happens at Black Friday or Christmas. This year at Christmas you could buy 12 months by an old price if even not cheaper. Let's say I never saw another sales through past year.

 

Edit, you can hope for target sale, check your email, if you receive them.

$5 a month is totally OK but that’s in the case that PSN and R* servers work properly.

 

It pisses me off a little to pay full for a service that’s 50% functional.

Keep an eye out next year on black friday. I got a year of plus for $40. It was a deal through best buy online.

 

I know that doesnt help now though.

 

If your plus shouls lapse, see if you can use the two or three day free trial. Last year when I was low on funds I ended up using the trial to scratch that GTA itch. It let me even though I had used it before.
