Infernus with the stimulus money from the rocky launch. Painted Lime Green Like my favorite spawn in GTA IV. Lost it due to the fact that if a friend was in a vehicle you owned while driving another car in or out of your garage you would lose the vehicle. Didnt read the message. Pretty sure its been changed now but yeah. I still own an infernus though

My Z Type, I love old school 20s/30s style cars so I set that as my first goal to buy as soon as I could online. I remember griding rooftop rumble and coveted non stop to get it. Still have it, drive it & never going to get rid of it, especially now that its color matched to my Adder & Nero.

I think the Stinger was the first expensive vehicle I bought back in the spring 2014,I was grinding contact missions for a few days to buy it.I still have it in my classic sports car collection.

Zentorno. I grinded a playlist featuring that mission where u sniped dudes down the hill grabbed the cargobob and delivered the shipping container. Forgot the name of the mission. Anyway I think the Zen was 700k which was a lot in 2014.

 

Still have it. Will never get rid of it.

ETR1. I was so hyped about a super, bought it, loved the cornering on rails, then it got nerfed and it lost its appeal... It really feels slow? Maybe i expect too much. Yep thats it.

They nerfed it?? Mines been collecting dust, I might have to take it out for a spin to see what it's like now

 

My most anticipated purchase was by far the hydra. Took me forever to grind up the 3 million on old gen days and when I finally got it, I used it constantly for weeks. (Now sadly when I buy a new toy, I typically get bored of it within hours).

Idk if you could call it after a reward, but still. Transferred my lvl 6 or so character to PS4 cause of the 500k refund from R* due to the russian hacker debacle during launch. My PS4 was the GTA package with 500k money code. So after the code and transfer I had 1m as lvl 6. Bought myself Hangman Avenue 6 car house, Richards Majestic apartment and a Massacro Racecar.

 

I still own them all, sort of. Hangman was for like 10 minutes exchanged for a cheap 10 car garage to get the car collector award and tee. And I switched to a new interior apartment in Richards cause Alta I wanted little later didnt have the new interiors.

I guess my first purchase was the Carbonizzare or the EntityXF or maybe the JB700 it was so long ago lol, I purchased a high end apartment pretty early into the game but they were the only purchased cars in it at the time everything else was stolen or free like the Elegy. I still own the 3 purchased cars and the Elegy as well as well as some of the other stolen ones like the Zion (which was the first car I stole).

Entity XF here too. Still have it since I started on PS3 in Oct. '14 (then transferred to PC).

 

Only car I actually bought a Shark Card for; was worth it considering how powerful its original traction and braking were. Could almost climb up walls and stop on a dime until R* nerfed it badly <insert expletives here>.

 

Then the next best vehicle was the Buzzard. IMO the most practical vehicle in the game.

My Rapid GT Classic, one of the few cars in the game I actively looked forward to since I'm a big fan of Mustangs, specially classic ones. Buying it was basically rewarding myself for my patience due to Rockstar's dripfeeding bullsh*t.

I had been on GTAO for less than two weeks in the summer of 2016 on PS3 when a modder teleported me out of the vehicle that I was in and rained a lot of GTA$ on me.

 

I "rewarded" myself with an apartment at Eclipse, a T20, an Adder and a Vapid Bullet.

 

I still have the cars today on PS4. Sold Eclipse because of modders. (Windfarm blades blocking the garage/front door) Repurchased it on PS4.

I only had a Tornado and Sentinel until I bought the Zentorno after so many Rooftop Rumbles. I was a low rank so I had to find job invites for it. I can't believe that was years ago when I was a high school freshman! I still have it, but I barely drive it now.
