Jack Lupino 659
I got this idea from a similar thread in gta sa. So pretty self explanatory. What were your biggest hurdles for achieving 100% status in this game? Heres mine- 1) Joeys missions disappears if you dont complete it before Tonis and you have to replay all over again 2)The Patriot Playground:I kept rolling over or fell into water 3)Paramedics side mission: GTA 3 Ambulance.Nuff said. 4)That rampage mission where you have to behead 15 cartels. Sniping was so bad in gta3. I used to hate taxi fares. But after knowing a glitch you can atleast use other vehicles as taxis for fun. mde2 1,186
I share your feels on the ambulance, f*ck paramedic missions. - Any mission involving killing (x) number of (x). I find GTA 3's shooting mechanics to be really shoddy on the PC. Half the time it feels like half my shots barely hit their target. The shooting was made very easy and it's much more difficult in SA for example. But I just fired up GTA 3, used the gunsgunsguns cheat just for a quick test and certain weapons like the AK miss even when my reticle is directly located directly on a peds torso
stef_92 931
If you play on a wide screen (16:9, 16:10 or something) and you turn on the wide screen option things get weird. Your bullets hit slightly up and right from the center. Besides that the radar and the HUD become big and stretched. The game has these issues when you play on anything rather than 4:3 resolution. Just download and use the ThirteenAG widescreen fix for GTA 3 and that's all Edited January 28, 2018 by stef_92

Also found the taxi fares very tedious after a while. Edited January 29, 2018 by Lock N' Stock

BowlingMaster 83
I'd say the Paramedic mission. That slope from Portland View to Saint Marks (leading to Marco's Bistro) can ruin your progress anytime. The sniper rampage in SSV was annoying as well. You can't get to ground level like the one in Staunton Island (Yardies) because the colombians are hostile towards you and since I play the PS2 version it's a little harder to aim (also there's a pole with a weird hitbox that blocks your shots). During higher levels most of the patients spawn there, they are close to each other and also Saint Mark's itself is close to the hospital. This is a huge advantage because you can quickly collect 1-2 ambulances from Saint Mark's in the beginning of the level and with the earned bonuses you could easily complete the rest. Lock n' Stock 2,915
Now that I think about it, one mission I really despised was that stupid 'Big'n'Veiny' mission from El Burro. If you so much as make one screw-up while picking up the litter of porn left around, chances are highly likely that you'll run out of time. I wasn't a fan of the gang-based payphone missions in general to be honest. Other offenders I'd add would be 'Kingdom Come' ("I got a present for 'ya! Special delivery!" Hahahaha!" "Come to daddy!") and D-Ice's "Rigged to Blow", where you LITERALLY have to drive an Infernus from Shoreside to Portland without crashing too much (you probably know what happens otherwise). Evil empire 2,663
Apart from S.A.M the paramedic job is very annoying to do and I found Gripped very frustrating until I discovered I can flip the patriot onto its wheels thanks to the ultimate trainer.

Then you have a fake 100% game completion. While for me the hardest part for 100% completion it was the Paramedic submission on PS2.

Carbonox 1,106
Paramedic missions, any headshot rampages (good luck with them on the PS2 controller), and maybe the offroad missions if they're as hard as I think they were. Oh and pretty much any side task in St. Marks if the Leones hate your guts. That can get pretty messy.
Naroon 883
f*ck Gripped and Patriot Playground. f*ck the Ambulance and its tendency to flip for no reason. f*ck most of the pay phone missions (not hard, just badly designed boring missions)
SorveteQuente 6,553
1 - The fact that some missions simply disappear for good if you do them in the wrong order (i.e. Asuka and Kenji Kasen missions); 2 - Basically any odd job side mission done in the Post Game. Gangs carry powerful weapons such as the OP Shotgun; 3 - The Gripped! side mission.

DEALUX 2,554
Paramedic might have been difficult for me as well initially but I think I learned how to do it quite quickly. My biggest initial hurdle was learning how to play the game without cheats. I could probably complete the game 100% in one sitting with the speedrunning strats and glitches that I learned over the years playing this game. I might attempt to do this sometime. You can shoot and move at the same time but only with lightweight weapons (in this case - pistol and uzi). As far as I can remember it's the same situation in VC and SA too
