I'd like to try win some races to unlock upgrades Hm I am guessing here you are talking about gta online. I am not sure what you mean by special but Super car races will unlock all mods for you. If you wish to play with sports cars you can host your own race and choose "sports" as the class. The host chooses which type of cars the players will race with. If you are talking about premium races then Rockstar chooses the class and it changes every tuesday.
