traffic fixes

water level is now proper

actual trees in certain places

 

not a lot of stuff, but enough to warrant a quick release

maybe cause the graffiti is a bit of higher quality than the building textures?

Then either:

A) raise the quality of the building textures

B) lower the quality of the graffiti

 

because this just looks awful imho

havnt tested it yet... the dev build of the mod uses the LQ textures atm

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to make LQ graffiti tags for those who want to use LQ textures

You should probably go for more graffiti looking fonts/brushes for your tags, it would look better, and more pleasing, than those straight lines that hurt my eyes so bad...

So, this is a converted map of chicago to sa-mp . I don't know why I converted this map, but it already lies in my archives for half a year and I still could not find the time to publish it. Now when Wakka387 decided to continue working on the mod, I think this is right time.

It requires:
SA-MP 0.3.DL Client

Download:
If you need just a map script and models: Click
If you need a full server: Click
If you don't want to download a cache* at connect to server: Click

*Put the cache folder (127.0.0.1.7777) to 
\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\SAMP\cache

Hey can you make increase the texture resolution to default SA resolution of the vehicles and make it SA styled

I really like these low definition models, it would be interesting for once having a mod that haves low poly vehicles, peds and weapons. It would be different than the rest.

 

The only suggestion is to just make a basic 3d interior for these vehicles, and leave the rest untouched. I think it would be look cool.

 

Also why insist with increasing the resolution of the vehicles? They would look rather out of place, since they almost have more polys than the whole level geometry.

Yes, it would be killer if you could manage to use the vehicle sounds from Driver 2 and Driver.

I have a suggestion, if I may.

I think you should add PS2/Mobile reflections to those low poly vehicles, so it will look kinda like the specular reflections in the PC version of Driver. I know they're lowpoly, but it will make the car look less flat and squarey.

You can kinda see the effect of it here.
