Best Way to Grind

Recommended Posts

I want to find the best way I can make money in Online. I currently have a vehicle warehouse, MC clubhouse, cocaine lockup and medium crate warehouse. My routine now is:

1 - Source car

2 - Sell car

3 - Supply mission for cocaine lockup

4 - Another supply mission

5 - Repeat

Everytime I fill two bars of product I sell.

How can I improve this?

There are a few threads on here that go into the details of what are most productive earners per hour and what combos are best.

There is also a Lone Wolfs that helps you with the best techniques for earning alone.

Both of these threads might be able to help you out :)

Personally I would have a fully modified Bunker earning from purchased stock whilst doing Import Export from a nearly fully stocked warehouse.

Or leave the Bunker earning while you go off an play your favourite game modes.

Best is an ambigious term. "Best" can mean "fast" or "easy".

There are profitable ways that are fast, but not easy. There are ways that are easy, but not fast.

How can I improve this?

You don't need to improve the routine, you need to optimize the way you complete the missions. Using Cargobob for Import/Export, using Lester at the right time, sniping the driver so you don't have to chase him, etc. God is in the details.

I contend that "best" can also mean the way that doesn't burn you out or feel like a second job. These days I'm less about efficiency and more about variety. It's always a good idea to be aware of what the most efficient tricks and methods are if only to have a baseline for judging your own efforts, but if you're having a good time and still earning whatever your definition of "enough" is, that's the best way to make money online.

Buy supplies for bunker and mc. Let them do the work. Sell with one delivery vehicle

Source and sell vehicles to the max

Leave ceo crates alone

Join some heist , contact missions , race or whatever and have fun

Oh and mess around in freeroam win some events, be a good sport , blow up cargo and earn respect and 2k 😉

My solo method.

1. Steal supplies for bunker.

2. Headhunter/Sightseer = + 21,500

3. Buy 2 crates = -32,000

4. Headhunter/Sightseer = + 86,000

5. Repeat until I reach 8 crates, then sell = + 112,000

6. Headhunter/Sightseer = + 21,500

7. Go to bunker, then sell = + 210,000

Profit = 419,000

I never bought the MC business, did not want to deal with LJT.

My Solo method:

1.Purchase supplies for bunker (switch session)

2.Spawn in ceo office and steal car (10-10-12 method)

3.Sell car

4.Grab combat heli or jetpack and start headhunter in city.

5.Try to hunt down all the bounties in LS.

6.Grab MOC Cab and start Haulage after cooldown reached 0 from doing headhunter.

7.Pretend being a trucker. After mission finito, switch session to spawn in ceo office.

8.Repeat steps 2-7 until 2h15mins has passed from buying supplies.

9.Sell bunker in crowded session to gain "high demand bonus".

10.Repeat steps 1-9 For teh profits. $$$

My solo money maker goes like this:

- Buy supplies for my bunker

- start fortified

- source top end car

- sell top end car

- velocity/headhunter/sightseer/hostile takeover (whatever I feel is more fun)

- sell bunker product when supplies are empty

Im thinking of tweaking my method by farming Sandkings again and buying a wastelander for the Transporter mission

Feeble and smith grind are pretty awesome although many stick with a 50-50 for simplicity. I personally like the darkslide perfected by Rodney Mullen, the capser slide is also nice but to each his own.

My solo method for now:

- start yachts PP (30k for 10m of AFK)

- if im in the mood I/E (steal 1 top car / sell 1 top car)

- Fortified (35k/10m AFK)

and buying bunker supplies from time to time. I also have my Cocaine and MethLab but I din't use it (sell missions are boring)

I do I/E sales and mix it with Headhunter and Special Cargo and Gunrunning.

I always have "Active Heist" in my apartment near my "Maze Bank West" office for quick teleportation.

I will sell top range car, use quick teleport and source another. While waiting for the cooldown I do Headhunter or Special Cargo.

Then sell coke

Rinse and repeat.

Feeling froggy?? Add in the meth lab too.

I used to source a car then sell one, then do headhunter, then source and sell again. Do that a few times while bunker builds stock, then sell stock.

Now???? Hmm, I've been collecting bounties and helping lower level grinders fight off Griefers in my Akula then sell guns. Once in a while I do cars but it's just so damned much fun griefing griefers.

I really need to get back on track, I'm almost broke again. LOL.

If you fancy doing something outside of free mode there is normally at least one 2x mode that pays well each week, last week I was making good cash on Motor wars, this week Hardest target is paying me well very well.

I still think that getting a good team together for Pacific standard is the most lucrative way to make cash fast.

I used to grind in solo sessions. Burnt me out.

Took a 6 month hiatus.

Back at it again and do the following:

1) Source

2) Sell sourced car.

3) call up a car (I go down the list)

3) drive to my bunker (not crashing into everything)

4) steal supplies x 2

5) Call up car from bunker then drive to coke factory

6) Steal supplies x 2

7) call up car to drive to meth lab

8) steal supplies x 2

9) call up car to drive to veh warehouse

Repeat.

Once they all reach 2 bars, I sell.

In between, I would attend the local skate park and do some tricks. Then bike around Strawberry. Go to the golf course and play a few holes. I'd sometimes

I lived a super fast paced life for the past 3 years.

I'm retired, have everything and am just enjoying the sights the sounds and the atmosphere this game offers.

Has anyone ever maxed out Bunker stock and sell it? If so, how difficult is the mission to do it? Disregard the High Demand multiplier if you can.

You can do it if you get the Phantom wedges or the single drop insurgents. Others like marshals, buggies and 5 stop insurgents will not go well solo even in a lobby by yourself. Some missions are closer than others so even the latter might be possible.

I assume that the higher the stock, the harder the NCPs are at stopping you?

I don't think so, just more product to move in the same amount of time with the same number of NPCs per run you make.

I mostly play solo so this is my way of grinding:

1. Sell one customised Sandking

2. Resupply and sell Bunker stocks

3. Headhunter

4. Resupply and sell Coke stocks

5. Steal and sell I/E Top Range car

6. Another Headhunter

7. Repeat step 1

A lot of people swear by stealing and selling Sandkings and Dubsta 2's, particularly the former as it spawns a lot in particular locations you can basically farm by going back to over and over. Another option is stealing and selling some of the rare customised cars (some spawn near Mod shops quite often) and gang cars - there are a few threads about doing this.

Ive played almost every mission.

Did you play VIP missions? VIP work is great for everyone. I'm not new, but i'm still doing it.

The fundamental rule of making money in GTA: find shortcuts.

Never play in a way that Rockstar expect you to play.

Also, check the Sandkings guide

I mix up I/E work with Headhunter and Sightseer, and keep my garages pretty well stocked with Sentinel XSs--still a fast and easy way of pulling in $14k-$17k.

Would do Dubsta 2 spawns, but the time spent in spawning them even in contact missions like Chopper Tail still takes too long to be worthwhile. The next best car is the Dominator at $19k, but spawning this is as infrequent as the Dubsta 2. Sandking XLs are good, but too far north to spawn unless I'm already in the area.

I enjoy Executive Search and Piracy Prevention, but these are off the list at the moment due to dicey public sessions...

There is no best way to grind OP, its all about how much time you are willing to invest into making profit. Your routine looks like you're going with the "free" route and nothing wrong with that-- but its a much slower method for grinding solo... you'll need to speed things up and hire some bikers/associates to fill that supply bar quicker and get production going.

Or buy the supplies, this not only fills supply bars immediately, but it also frees you to focus on other things and to go work the money off either with Freemode Missions(CEO,MC,VIP,etc...), Contact Missions (Lester, Madrazo, Simeon, etc...)or jump in on whatever Double Cash Event is hosted for the week to pick up good quick cash.

How I earned 1 million in one day:

1) Find a solo session

2) Trace a car from your CEO office

3) Once in your vehicle warehouse, sell only high-end cars, middle if you don't have*

4) Do a boss job with a slow vehicle and repeat from point 2**

*Always keep in your warehouse low/middle-end vehicles, bacause they will not be traced anymore. Instead, get rid of high end cars, 'cause they will be traced again and again, and you can sell them, again and again

**We all know that timer which comes out after selling a vehicle: well, during that time tracing a vehicle isn't enough for 'killing the time'...so you can do a roadtrip around the map and get 20.000$ at the same time. Often you will finish a job too quickly if you a have a fast car, so chill out and drive a slow vehicle you could never use in a full session :)

Doing this, u can recover those 20.000$ u use preparing your vehicle for the buyer.

I would say most important factor is to keep a close eye on bonusses.

If there's no good bonus on sales i spend my time filling everything up (crates are my fav.)

And then when a good bonus week arrives, i sell the lot.

Made over 7mln yesterday evening selling crates at double price :)

It helps having a buffer of cash, because that way i never really feel the direct need to sell anything and i can wait for a bonus week to come around.
