Most:
It took me 2 months to complete San Andreas.
Got stuck at pilot school so quit. Then i tried again after 1 month but then got stuck at NOE but finally completed the game in 56th day.

Least:
GTA LCS. It took me only 5 days to beat the main storyline missions.

Most.

GTA IV when I went for 100%. It took me roughly about 2 months.

Least.

GTA V. I beat the missions in about 10 days and that was including exploring in between. Normally it takes me two weeks or so to complete the missions, but GTA V just felt too short.

Took me awhile to get through CTW even though the story isn't too long. Kept getting distracted with side missions.

V didn't get too far from the starting line with me. After you're done that awful Merryweather Heist the rest of the game is a blur. Only time it slows down for me is when Michael and Trevor are in Sandy Shores together.

The only GTA story I've ever completed was Vice City and that was with cheats on.

Most is probably GTA San Andreas since it was long and I started it during spring semester. I think it took me 3 months, and I played the last 2 missions on an airplane of all places.

Shortest was either Vice City and V. I beat both within 3-4 days.

Most: Vice City, about 4 years.

Now the thing you gotta understand is, during my first playthrough of the game, I was about 8 or 9, so I was pretty much just messing around. I'd do a mission here and there, wait a few months, do another, and so on. So roughly 3-4 years. Now, I'd be able to complete the game within 2-3 days probably.

Least: I dunno, since I don't usually play missions consecutively.

Least: GTA V

Second least: GTA VCS

Never completed (but have played/own): GTA 1, GTA 2, GTA: CW

GTA IV = 5-6 months, because I didn't like the game and quit few times. Eventually I returned back but after completing main story I didn't bother with %100 completion.

GTA V = I completed main story in 3 weeks, also I spent another week for %100 completion.

Probably Vice City, that was the only game my PC could run back then and I just replayed everything again and again. Started speedrunning it a few years back so it just adds to it.

Least: III - I can't just bring myself to complete it.

When you say complete, I'm just gonna assume you mean 100% completion.

Most: Vice City

It's a bit unfair to say because my most recent (and tbh only) playthrough I've put on hold, so I haven't actually completed the game. The gameplay itself is very different from the likes of San Andreas or GTA IV; I found a lot of the missions quite intense and difficult because of it. I eventually just ended up using cheats. There was also those few times I spent hours driving around listening to the music, so there's that.

Least: GTA V

Such a huge map, but suprisingly not a lot to do. The Stranger and Freak missions are usually just "have a bad drug trip" or "pick up stuff". The Random Events are just "someone stole mah wallet". An entire blob of percentage is dedicated to winning some minigames. It's boring. I'm not saying that a lot of other GTA's were better, but compared to others it got old quick. I mean, Rockstar probably knew this themselves as you didn't even need to everything in the game to achieve 100%. I finished the entire thing in like 5 days of accumulated playtime.

The fact that people have voted V as a shorter GTA than TLAD is funny. 22>69?

Because the poll's not asking about the number of missions? Not everyone spends hours and hours each day playing video games so obviously it's going to vary.

Most time to complete- GTA VC, easily. The reason it took so long was 'Demolition Man'. This mission made me quit Vice City. After about two years, I started the game again and nailed it. F*ck you Avery Carrington, I was so glad when I got the opportunity to pump bullets into Avery in LCS.

Least time to complete- GTA IV because it was something totally different from the 3D era, those graphics, ragdoll physics, mechanics. I've never played any game with such enhanced graphics and I spent most of time playing it. I don't remember exactly, but I think I completed the game in about one week.

I'm not talking about 100%, by completion I mean completing all the storyline missions.

Well then it's a weird poll. Someone might have a problem in the middle of his/her walkthrough and abandon the game for a week. In other words someone might be completely free and finish the game in 3 days by playing 24/7

Also to my experience if someone loves a game they are most likely to play more of it and finish it sooner.

Most: GTA SA, the missions were difficult for me as a kid probably took me like 5 months

Least: GTA V, finished it in less than a week maybe 5 days, I remember the strong feeling of disappointment after killing Devin, I was like no way that's it? Turns it out it was. sh*ttiest GTA ever

Fun fact is I finished GTA V in 2.5 days. Me and my cousin basically started a race to see who can finish the game sooner(with side missions as well.) the Finale was a disappointment. GTA V never lived up to the hype. Not even near. Most people played 24 hours straight because of how hyped they were and when they finished it quick they were disappointed. GTA V must me the most disappointing GTA because before release everyone thought it will finally be the ultimate GTA. A COMBINATION of VC SA and IV.it wasn't. Just like IV and VC it focused in its own thing. But it's up there with the best GTAs.

Most: VCS, I got stuck on Jive Drive and gave up, didn't go back to the game for 2-3 years and even then I had to send someone my save because I still couldn't finish it

Least: V, the story felt really short, pretty sure I completed it in under 3 hours

Nope that's my actual time playing the story missions, it was just so boring that I skipped through a lot (mostly cutting down travel time by taxi teleporting when off mission, halfway through I got a trainer too) if I wouldn't have done that I'd probably have maybe 4-5 hours tops

I don't think you can finish the story missions in 3 hours even if you do them only and use fast travel. The only way is to keep failing the missions so you can skip them which is really lame if you've done that.

Only one I remember skipping was the mission where you break into Michael's house, and I got a trainer at about the 2nd or 3rd heist so I started just teleporting (which is lame yes I know, but it just became too boring at that point)

Well you're weird. Cause GTA 5 missions were way more fun than IV's

The story was weaker but the missions were better.
