Possible mission removed from Pastor Richards in GTA VC

To start, I've been researching the mysteries of gta VC, and I found something, at least funny but interesting, that e (I do not know if it's true, because the official site of this story does not exist anymore) a story about the missions of pastor richards,(she can be this bad translated because it was translated from French to Portuguese and now to English).

 

Pastor Richards' legendary secret mission. That would be the last mission of Pastor Richards. You must remember him in the mission "The Party" he should if one of the most important characters of the game but ended up being cut and placed as an extra.

There are more or less 3 missions with pastor richards until the time of killing him but we do not know right so for now we will not comment anything.

Little is known about it or to speak the truth nor do we know it right but through an old research we got this material there and it belongs to gtamind.To tell you the truth, I really (Fido) believed that this mission could be true, but after some researches I do not think this is a serious rumor, I honestly do not think we should, but as this story is rolling loose, we decided through what we researched to put this whole story. Do you want gtamind's opinion? That's a lie. But we still can not. to say nothing we are passing to you to enjoy even if it is only lie think that perhaps it would be fun this mission.

The French site that brought this whole story (including some photos) disappeared a long time nowadays (February 2006) I believe it's all fitting even after all he never let me take the pictures and pass to a specialist to see.But this everything does not matter truth or it is not worth giving a read and give an opinion on this whole story.

After a long time I finally finished translating this mission!

You've probably never heard of her and certainly never did. It is the most amazing, heavier (porn) missions and the most important of the final scheme with Ricardo Diaz and Colonel Cortez (On the subject of French technology).

The mind translated, but there were some problems and some things; which even I did not understand! From what I understand, this should be the last mission of the movie studio (or after the mission that you have to jump on the bike over buildings) or it's the last mission with the Bikers gang.

No more delay in the mission (Attention we translate only, we do not know where this whole story begins).

After you have entered the Garage (I have no idea what garage that is!), You will find yourself in Pastor Richards' Great Apartment with a very Hardcore scene (this mission is censored in Australia), in fact, you see Candy completely naked, you see everything! However, the Shepherd sticks his "banana" into it. The Pastor sees that you are watching him, and he retires, and removes the "merchandise" from Candy ... and Mercedes also naked appears with a glass of water, and asks you to go to the balcony of the apartment to talk to the Shepherd (he's still naked) to tell you the beginning of this long mission (Long Boot in this the longest game!)!

THE SECRET MISSION

You have to make a deal with Big Mitch Baker, the boss of the Bikers gang, who picked up Hyman Stadium for assault. You will give a large suitcase full of money in exchange for French warfare technologies (the same as Colonel Cortez). You will have to go to the Stadium, and enter (this, even, enter inside), where nothing happens as planned. You are in fact attacked by the Bikers. After the gang members die, Baker says that his men and you wanted to kill him, (we did not get it right that he had no confidence in anyone else. Baker asks you to hand over the case with the money, but the moment you (Those guys who worked for Diaz and who steal your money at the beginning of the game and put you in that mess, so they have their own images like Tommy, Lance etc ... they would be characters as well) , which comes out of several black Stretchers, and they start firing at you, and Baker picks up his suitcase and runs away by helicopter alone, the helicopter explodes, and the two suitcases fall to the ground, and a man appears all in black with the same mask you used when you held-up on Malibu, shouting, "Only Mr.X Saves."

After, the men in black have been killed, the Pastor calls you on the cell phone. Exit the stadium and return to the garage. A kinematics shows you on the Roof of the Shepherd Building (admire the view, and be careful not to fall eheheh). The Pastor is grateful for the work done by you, and regrets that you have lost the suitcase In this, his cell phone rings, and it is Baker who says he has Mercedes as a hostage. From the ceiling you can see Baker with Mercedes, so grab a Sniper gun and look in the middle of his head, to kill him.

When you kill it the game can be saved (What you would probably do if you had that mission)

Now comes the last part of this story revealing about the French technology and control of Ricardo Diaz and the pastor for Vice City (which you change at the end of the game heheeh).

You will receive a phone call from Mercedes, asking you to meet the Pastor at the Docks, and that he is waiting for you with the two suitcases. Soon after, you get into any car, the Black Stretchers will come back, with the same men in black. After getting rid of these three Stretchs (These are the guys that appear at the beginning of the game and steal your money), direction Docas. After arriving, a new shoot-out with the guys in black, and then, you find the Shepherd in front of a building with a bullet-proof vest. Talk to the Pastor, and he will ask you to follow him to the Ship (the same as the Spilling the Beans mission from Print Works). In the cinematic, the Pastor takes you to his room, and shows the suitcase with the black clothes and the mask he used at the stadium, and then he asks you to see a small movie that appears on the television in his room.

The film shows Pastor Richards a.k.a Mr.X disembarking in Vice City on this great Boat, and he is received with a gunfight between the men of Diaz and the men of the Shepherd. The Boat explodes, but Richards manages to escape in a Dinghy. Mr.X had become extremely powerful and he and Diaz shared the power of Vice City at that time. Only Diaz steals a war technology from the French government, but he loses that technology to the French, and then Tommy recovers the missiles to Cortez, who then loses to the Bikers who lose the technology to the Shepherd. Soon after watching the video, Pastor points a gun at Tommy's head. But he manages to get away, but Richards chases him with a flamethrower. Tommy manages to kill Richards, in a mistake of the Pastor, because he burned himself with the flamethrower. Seeing that he would not survive, Richards throws himself into the sea and disappears without trace.

Soon after she kills, her cell phone rings, and Candy asks you to go to Vercetti Estate as soon as possible. Follow HUD S on the map. Walk to the pink marker: Mission Complete and $ 1,000,000 in your account.

ENDING

You will find Candy closing the doors of your office and in that, you will hear groans, of course that is what you are thinking! The last scene, shows an unreleased walk with Tommy, Candy, Mercedes, Kent, Steeve and Ken who sing a Flash FM song! I remember reading something similar to this AGES ago (that Pastor Richards apartment thing), probably on old brazilian discussion boards.

 

It was probably someone just having fun on the internet. I doubt there's anything to back up the existance of such mission(s). Thanks for reliving this unpleasant memory, OP.

Having some missions with Pastor Richards would have been fun, he's as caricatural as Catalina and it would have been a good extension to the InterGlobal Studios missions set.

I always wondered why they cut Pastor Richards because his character reminds me of the shady televangelists of the eighties like Oral Roberts and Jimmy Swaggart, which wouldn't have been at all out of place among the Vice City personalities. However, could it be that they simply switched out Pastor Richards missions for the Auntie Poulet missions, as her character seems to take a lot of inspiration from the telephone psychic persona of the actress voicing her?

This was indeed a common rumour, but he has work after GTA Vice City's release on IMDB so it seems he hasn't passed during development.

Didn't Pastor Richards made an appearance in the VCPR? So does the rumor even make sense? Unless it was made before the actual mission voice script.

As I was writing a custom Vice City continuation I brang him back in a mission for some politician where you kill him for his anti-communist propaganda.
