Welcome to the Doomsday Heist Elimination Game

 

 

The object of this is to pick a winner from the different heist prep missions, setups, then the finales added in the Doomsday Heist update in GTA Online.

 

 

The Rules:

● You add one point (+1) to your favorite and subtract two points (-2) which you can split (-1) (-1) for your least favorite(s).

● It isn't allowed to add and subtract from the same choice in one vote.

● You're only responsible for changing the score to reflect your vote, not the person before you.

● You can vote once per day (every 24 hours). You can do it after 21 hours minimum, but if it becomes a habit it will not be allowed.

● When we are down to the last three, you need to vote after 24 hours. Voting earlier than 24 hours is no longer an option at this point.

● Copy and paste the list from the last person before you. This helps out everyone to see what the scores are and we can prevent disinformation from spreading through the game.

● Do not use multiple accounts, this is not allowed and action will be taken if you are found to be doing this.

● Only vote in these games if you have been a forum member for two weeks at least. If the person above you hasn't been a member for at least two weeks, then you should ignore their vote.

● If the person before you votes wrong (not forgetting to write the correct scores, but doesn't vote as the first rule implies), you shall ignore that vote.

● If you are new to this game do as the regulars do. If you disagree; they are right, and you are wrong. Accept that or leave this thread.

● Please show what you voted for in your post, as a example:

Good behavior rules - Please Read

● When quoting someone, remove the score from your post (if applicable).

● Avoid adding remarks about the choice you are voting for or against within the "Scoring Rows". Place it below your vote, as this will make it easier for the next person to vote.

● If you have already posted a vote you cannot change that vote and pick something else. Once it's published it's final.

● Opinions outside of the vote are allowed, but this should be done within reason.

● Cheating, manipulating scores and other deceptive attempts to derail the game is not allowed.

● Should you decide to disregard these rules and take matters into your own hands, you may face consequences from the Moderators.

● Trolling or antagonistic behavior will not be tolerated.

● If you think the list needs work or to be changed please make a suggestion, just don't take it upon yourself to change it.

● This is not the appropriate thread to hold a discussion about your disdain for the game, please post that in the other threads currently open.

 

 

 

This game will be held tournament style, meaning - First Act I prep missions, then the setups, then Act IIs Prep missions and so on - until we get to the 3 Finales. As soon as we finish one I will post the next in this thread.

First! Act I's preps and setups are all kind of "meh" in my opinion. At least the bullet sponges aren't too strong in these early missions.

Deluxos is like a nightmare of a I/E Import mission... that you have to do FOUR times, in a fairly short amount of time. At least you can Cargobob it, but it's still a **** to do solo, in the time alotted, in a public lobby.

 

Paramedic has to be the easiest mission to do out of all the DD heists. You can Cargobob it, or just call for one to show up!

 

Akula: Yay, the FZ control tower. But, how do you keep from getting a wanted level before the helicopter is located? I always have to fight my way out of Zancudo, but at least taking the elevator down saves time and effort (and ammo).

As soon as you spawn outside you can call 911 and request a ambulance, one will come right to you. Then drive it inside the facility. Done in 2 minutes, no need for the long drive anywhere

Deluxos -2, if only for the fact it has a freaking time limit that they don't tell you about until it is almost up. When I was going solo on the last car it ran out a hundred free from my facility.

I got confused, my vote still stands though. This was the most boring prep mission imo

 

Deluxo is a pain if solo/nobody joins, but at least you do a shoot out

Paramedic prep is quick and easy.

 

The Deluxo prep was a b*tch to solo time wise, and Lago Zancudo Facility isn't even that far away, so it gets the downvote treatment.

 

The Akula prep was quite fun. I really liked the use of Fort Zancudo tower. So this one will be getting the +1s from me.

Down voting because it's bad from Paleto Bay is a poor excuse imo, nothing is good from there, not even finale in act 2..

Hands down it's got to be the Akula for this one. Sneak into Fort Zancudo versus drive some cars back or call for an ambulance - no contest. The shoot out before stealing the Deluxos is quite fun but like Hunter, I like to be able to solo the preps - that way when my friends are on line we can smash straight through the setups. Getting the four back on your own, whether cargbobing or driving them, is tedious.

The preps of the first act aren't all that special to be honest. Shame Rockstar didn't give us the non-flying version of the Deluxo, which is clearly in the game as it's featured in the prep mission.
