Alright then, I apologize for having such harsh criticism over your proposal, OP.

 

I like the vehicles and fixes you provided in your post, though. I will just say that the game modes need some more tweaking so they do not entirely resemble movie or videogame concepts, you just need to be inspired by them so you can create your own thing.

I like everything about it except the home invasions - my properties are my safe havens and I wouldnt want that to change. I also think that as a whole, assuming that GTA 6 is based in VC, that this would be a better fit there.

Also it needs more big 80s boxes imo, like just generic old everyday cars like these. I think supercars are outnumbering regular cars in GTA 5 land.

As a lover of synthwave, Hotline Miami, Drive and the general 80's aesthetics, I really love your concept, just two things:

 

- Aside from the Boxville and the ZR-350, all your suggested vehicles have been already recreated in the game:

 

Lamborghini Countach = Pegassi Torero

De Tomaso Pantera (succesor of Mangusta) and Maserati Merak = Lampadati Viseris

The Sabre Custom is already a Benny's car.

As someone who made a concept similar to this a couple of years ago I'd say this is alright and I wouldn't mind seeing some fo this content online.

 

I'm concerned a bit about the nightclubs being open, while I do like the idea I doubt every single club will be suddenly available to explore. I can see Tequi-La-La and Bahama Mamas being open, since those have existing interiors alrady, but nothing else. Unless they manage to suddenly create an interior for all of them.

 

Car selection definitely needs work. We all know for a fact Rockstar has been delivering on retro sports cars recently and a couple of them, the Countach and the Mangusta, technically, have already been released. I'd suggest bringing some everyday cars like sedans and compact cars. Maybe even bringing back some fan favorites like the Club and the VC era Stinger in a different name.

 

I doubt we'd get a station like NightRide FM, even if there's a really slim chance especially since they added two new stations since the release, but I doubt someone like Kavinsky, who has been doing nothing for the past 5 years would host it.

 

Overall, it's a good idea, but it needs to be executed properly.

I see many of these Concept Updates as being very oriented towards a players wishlist, this thought our update is very much applicable and definitely should be considered by Rockstar. Everything is inch perfect from the description of the update down to the choice of weapons and vehicles. Very nice how you implemented the beta radio, completely fits.

Afew things wrong with this concept

1.any comet classsic need to be one from vc.(stock, non-rally)

2.lack of Vice city vehicles, an 80s dlcs NEEDS atleast 4 Vehices from vice city.

3. NO HOME INVASIONS the lasthing we need is griefers killing people in their own apartments.

Other than that, its a good idea.

The Malik has a slim chance of being added since the Viseris was just added, imo. I mean the whole front end of the Viseris is Maserati.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I have a raging boner for things like Synthwave music, Outrun & Cyberpunk and bright colours associated with the genre such as purple, pink and blue.

 

There should also be the addition of a Benny's version of the Gauntlet or Comet (Comet Neo) like these two, designed by Khyzyl Saleem

I like the concept, but home invasion would be annoying (we already have the f*cking raids). Burglary jobs would be amazing, it would require furtive tactics, hacking skills and lock picks to invade the houses. A new varity of interiors would be added to the game for this purpose only. Burglary missions would follow the same concept as Cargo missions, but with 0 investment and the need of personal vehicles acording to profit/risk.

Type 1 (Compacts, Sedans, Coupes) - mobiles, documents and small objects
Type 2 (SUVs, Vans) - TVs, PCs, videogames, electronics
Type 3 (Trucks, Brickade) - Industrial stuff
Type 4 (Maverick) - Special items... It's good to add rappel to a mission

I love Khyzyl Saleem's cars. I don't think GTA can do his work justice though, his cars have so many, necessary little details that R* wouldn't include in their imitations. At least, there would need to be a LOT of Benny's customisations to make something similar (there would need to be some more stock looking customisation options as well as the Khyzyl-style stuff)

 

Now, I think this concept is missing a Ferrari 360/Turismo.

 

 

Not an 80s car, but it fits the aesthetic I think.
