I hope for something important for 10th anniversary.

Remaster.

Or atleast 1.0.9.0 patch.

Something big.

Hmmm nice bike

Wow, flashback to March 2007! I remember when that countdown first appeared. Man, the hype here was something else. And for the first week or two, I don't think the sound was there, they only added it later and when it appeared on FX in the middle of the night (I remember staying up late watching "Rescue Me" and the countdown coming on at some point after during the paid programming blocks I think).

Posters and stickers with the "IV" logo began randomly popping up in cities that month, too. I recall seeing them here near Wrigley Field, there were posters on the side of a building and a bunch of stickers on the sidewalk about a block away.

I wasn't there when the countdown started, nor when the trailer finally dropped but knowing that Rockstar servers went down at the end of it is hilarious.

At least I witnessed GTA V's countdown.

I remember being in the school library and waiting for the cruddy internet to buffer the trailer before the bell rang. Didn't happen, so I went to Wikipedia for a quick rundown and proudly announced to all my friends shortly thereafter that GTA IV is officially taking place in Baghdad, Iraq.

Don't worry, I have a mirror for the trailer

I remember seeing the countdown coming on the website. This sound is in my head since that day

It was pretty damn hype though. This was still in the time the Rockstar website basically ceased to exist when the trailer dropped, it just exploded completely. The GTAF hype was more "I MANAGED TO SEE IT" than "IT'S OUT!"

Thank you for reminding me. For f*ck sake some of us here are getting a too little old. Nothing less i do remember a couple cousins of mine were really excited to see this. After playing VC and SA for countless of hours together as teens we were such huge fans of gta.

Brought back tears seeing this. Time used just slip out of my head to often back then. Still kinda does today tbh :/

As I already posted - I'm wait for something important. More important than some LC sh*t in GTAO.

What I mean is some minor stuff from GTA IV to appear in GTAO, like clothes or smth related to IV, not even smth really noticeable.

That would be the worst case.

Damm this is making me nostalgic..GTA IV was the first GTA game that I really followed pre release (all the news, trailers, pics etc.) and it was awesome. And like many games, it actually delivered on the hype.

GTAIV "Movw up Ladies" and True Crime New York City trailers are the best game trailers ever.

Thinking how GTA games (III - Vice City - San Andreas) evolved and brought new features over its processors ; I thought we will going to get biggest open world game ever created that time.
