Also, hostile with pistol is enough to kill you. And the easiest game is gta v, low health? Just lay down and you will get recover to half. They were difficult but at least GTA 1, 2 and London didn't have a poor aiming system and all of those races. I am forgot to mention top down games. I've played gta 1 and gta 2 in my ps1. gta 2 is easier than gta 1 because bullets in gta 2 will turn automatically when the player just misses some degree from pedestrian. gta 1 is not too hard for me, just shooting makes me frustrated and camera motion makes me sick. The timing missions were really challenging (Looking at you E2G)and vehicle controls are clunky making race missions very difficult. I was so immersed during the whole of that game man I loved it, sure the missions weren't the best they have created (although imo some of them are) but the story made up for it I think. Plus if you fail, you don't need to do the ENTIRE mission again! Like SA's ending... f*cking Sweet.... and Four Leaf Clover, it pisses me off when Packie or Derek die in the subway and I have to do all that stuff again Hardest: GTA IV, only game I regularly die during the campaign. This game has so many traps, like in Grand Theft Aero at the construction site where you get destroyed by a colombian when entering that "labyrinth". Also, no in-game map and hostile gangs. Easiest: GTA V (health recover system) and GTA SA (specially on PS2 with auto aim). Partial health regeneration, special abilities and being able to skip entire sections of missions easily make it the most hand holding GTA. I guess V is the easiest these days.
