To start it off, here's the thread if you want quick help with your iFruit. I've listed some common issues+solutions down below. More will be added if we discover new solutions to already existing problems to the endlessly bugged iFruit app.

 

 

How to Fix the Unexpected Freeze when tapping on the Los Santos Customs option:

 

 

You may experience that your iFruit app wants to be a buttface and crash upon loading into the Los Santos Customs option.

However, there is now a fix for this. This bug usually happens when you own more than +20 vehicles*.

  1. Close down your iFruit app on your phone.
  2. Start GTA Online.
  3. Go to one of your garages and drive out with a car. This car has to be a car which was a part of PS3/XBox 360 GTA V! Once brought out, drive in again.
  4. Repeat step 3 around 15 times. You HAVE to drive out a different car each time.
  5. If done correctly, your iFruit app will not freeze anymore upon loading the Los Santos Customs option.

* = If you do not own +10 vehicles, you need to grab some NPC vehicles from the street and store them in your garage(s).

My iFruit is running fine and smoothly on Android, ehem... I mean, Drone :p Only issue I have is with Chop's minigame where I throw the ball off-screen and he doesn't return with it :lol:

 

Anyway, to try and help you; I'm not sure what OS you are using, but on Android (or Samsungs at least) you can delete data from the app. It will restore the data when you load it up again. This might help clear any dodgy files or issues :)

I tried this, but no luck.

 

Should I unlink & link the account to it?

No dice... I unlinked and linked it again, and it just crashed...

 

It works on PS3 though, so I assume it's something on my PS4 character?

I don't think its related to the character. Do you have any pending orders for other vehicles or dodgy plates? I'm kinda stumpped :( Edited by REXX

No pending orders AFAIK, and I do not have any dodgy plates. Everything went completely well just two weeks ago :(

Could it be related to your phone perhaps? Just tried opening up iFruit LSC in case any files were added. Running just as it should.

Too many of the suggestions I have could not be implemented properly.

 

I wouldnt mind having a computer in my garage from which I could order services and modifications on any vehicle.

I have a problem picking chops poop, it doesn't go in the waste basket, his place is filled with poop :(

You have to tap on the plastic glove which is placed underneath Chop's Happy bar. Then you can pick up the poop, and put it in the bin :)

Downloaded iFruit to PC too, same result. Crashes :lol:

Mine was doing exactly the same as yours a couple days ago. I checked it again today and it has let me in fine. I'm assuming its a bug or something. The servers have been all over the place lately. It may be struggling to get your character data properly. Maybe try un-installing and re-installing the app. Or just try in a couple of days again. Somehow mine sorted itself out and I didn't do anything special.

Not 100% sure but you might be dupe detected if you had several of the same Custom plate when you unlinked.. Iirc you get it when you unlink social club so probably this also

The thing is, if I get dupe detected, iFruit doesn't rally care. It will go to LSC option as normal, and you can order stuff to your vehicles. However, the iFruit order will never show up in-game.

 

And even if I was dupe detected, and that this problem would've been linked to dupe detect, many more people would've complained about the app crashing. I see almost no posts on the interwebs from the last month regarding iFruit crashing :(

Yes I had played online and used several of my cars in between the app not working and working again. I played a lot when the servers were dodgy too.

 

Maybe worth a try.

It wasn't meant as a possible solution per se but more as a be careful if you're going to sell any pv's. Seen people not aware of this before selling some pv's back to back only to get a higher dupe detected level and also hitting daily limit sooner.

 

I know this isn't about dupe detection, loosing personal plates etc but just wanted to give you a heads-up if you wasn't aware of it

 

Edit: Sorry for completely off topic but thought it was worth mentioning, you can ask mods to remove my posts if you don't want them clogging up the thread but some people might also ask about personal plates if they're dupe detected without knowing it

No need! I made this topic for others who may also need help with iFruit. Your post is quite informative on the matter, and will likely help the ones who's currently stuck with the Daily Sell Limit.

I cannot. But none of my cars are detectable. All plates are different and all of them are clean.

I cannot. But none of my cars are detectable. All plates are different and all of them are clean.

Any update on this? I am having a issue aswell with the plates ordering. I only have one dupe and I can't even get the tags for any car I purchased

I had a problem a long time ago that I would make orders but nothing happened in-game.

The problem was, despite what it was saying, it wasn’t overwriting an old order with new orders. Until I brought in the car I placed an order for months before (and forgot about), it wasn’t going to let me apply any new orders.

 

If you think this could be your issue, the trick is to remember which car has the phantom order. If you can’t, get in each car in its garage space until it pops up that “this car has a pending order at LSC”(or similar wording) and then drive it in.

Me and a crewmate have just been trying to sort his ifruit out. It wasn't refreshing his cars/bikes properly and no matter how many times he put a plate order through for the only vehicles he still has, it didn't result in an in-game text.

 

He finally found the problem. In ifruit settings change your console from xbox 360 - xbox one or from PS3 - PS4.

 

It should automatically detect your console but it doesn't.

Losing the ability to use all of Ifruit is the punishment. I don't mind so much about custom plates, but not even being able to paint stock wheels anymore is by far the biggest pain.
