Does the MOC have any use if you have the Avenger?

If a flying tank seems useful to you, it does! Personally I won't be buying one without a massive discount offered.

More to the point, does the Avenger have any use if you already have the MOC?

As (usually) the most heavily armored bomber, yes.

As a way to quickly move Weaponized vehicles to parts of the map, yes.

As a way to access a Vehicle/Weapon workshop closer than where the MOC will spawn, yes.

I was going to hold out until a sale, especially if it couldn't hold anything without a Vehicle Workshop, but based on the Gunrunning DLC's timeline it was going to be another 4-5 weeks before they may put it on sale.

I got tired of waiting until I lost my snow, so I bought it today with no add-ons (except armor & bombs, which are on sale this week), and I'll add those workshops when they go on sale and change my MOC's modules when they're on sale again. Until then, my MOC is still the Weapon/Vehicle modifier and my Avenger flies around and bombs

Discovered the other day when a lobby got heated the other day that even without someone manning the weaponry the avenger can be decent and entertaining at taking out unsuspecting aircraft by playing a game called "will it blend?"

It can dupe vehicles like magic.

"Mobile Dupe Center" would be an accurate description of the MOC

Or you store a aircraft in it to spawn it anywhere next to you, even in heists. ;)

I thought it was hilarious the first time I overtook a Buzzard and then proceeded to fly right through it.

Boom! "Outta the way!"

I'd love one to assist in the "Escort the slow-ass Titan" Smuggling job

One thing I wish the Avenger could do is open the rear door, like the Cargobobs in the MOC's DuneFAV mission can, and just stand there with a minigun or whatever

I have Hangar in Zancudo at small landing strip, I use it [MOC] as roadblock, to prevent NPC jets crash into me when I out on the plane.

Haha, I'd never thought of that!

Honestly we only need one gun locker. Our CEO office, mc clubhouse, facility, bunker, and I think hangar too have a gun locker and the living quarters and command center module (required to have at least one) of the MOC have a closet.

Does the MOC have any use if you have the Avenger? Seeing how its 50% off right now would be the time for me to pick it up but don't want to spend cash on something that will sit in the bunker. So what do you fine folks think?

I used to have the weapons and vehicle workshop in there, but because of the Avenger now I've just changed it to do store an extra PV which is useful for me because I love buying and collecting cars

After finally getting a solid answer, I bought my bare-bones Avenger. The weapon and vehicle workshops (and maybe the turrets, since they're useful when solo) will be installed when they're on sale.

Can you tell me what the renovation price is for the avenger?

Im still not sure if I buy a bare-bones avenger and a khanjali or if I should buy and fully upgrade an avenger amd wait with the khanjali.

The MOC, by default, has a wardrobe as well. It’s in the Living Quarters module.

I'm sure I tried to call it on heist and it didn't work. Is it just the old heists? Or is there some other criteria to be able to call it?

^ You have to destroy the car you chose at the start of the heist first, I believe. Not done it myself though.

Note that if you don’t have the Weapon Workshop you cannot access the gun locker.

Wait really?! How?

There's a website that contains between 6-8 sins that can help.

You still need a friend with a mic, an Elegy, be left-handed, be able to sing the national anthems (correctly) of at least 4 nations besides your own, be able to unplug your system from ethernet within a 0.5-second window, own a Hangar and a stilt-house and an Orion yacht, and then it will work 20% of the time... or so I've heard.

I can't meet the first three requirements, so I don't bother.

Can you fly, bobby?

Imagine a flying moc with better guns that you can set to autohover and use as a gun platform, while also having a weaponised vehicle in the back as an escape plan.

Random example from yesterday, grinding airfreight: Salvage mission at sea where you have to destroy the enemy and then dive on the freight, usually a tula/seabreeze. Nope, Avenger with a Stromberg in the back, much better... Try doing that in an 18-wheeler.

as i typed that I realised I could park the MOC on the shore and do exactly the same thing, but nm

With all those cops, wouldnt the wedge still be easier for the bunker sale mission? I've thought about it, but logically it doesn't seem like a good idea. I fling cops and NPC cars alike with the wedge. With my MOC truck, I'd ram the f*ck out of them but most likely it would slow me down quite a bit.

Nope, the wedge in the Bunker Sell mission is like tissue paper and sets on fire after about thirty rammed cars. The MOC Cab retains its invulnerability and infinite mass. If the Wedge is conected to the trailer and explodes then the Trailer explodes.

And remember that the MOC can be tuned with Engine, Transmission and Turbo mods and was created to pull the MOC, when you attach a simple trailer it does barely even feels it. You can clock over one hundred miles an hour in a tuned MOC with the trailer and without you can hit one ten - one twenty.

I’ve delivered with the Wedge more than 25 times, only twice was it even smoking (both of those times I hit a solid object). How bad a truck driver are you?
