Do money drops exist on xbox one?

If you look around the Multiplayer looking for groups hub, They are a bunch of people sometimes asking for money drops in xbox one. i dont know if money drops are possible on next gen or not. But i think thats ridiculous. I see alot of modding on 360 though

It wouldn't be PC for two or more reasons:

1) When sending another message to a player, an on-screen text window appears, like here: https://i.imgur.com/43E4O9S.jpg

2) Hitman3315 isn't an active SCID on the PC version, but is on the PS4. Name changers exist, sure, but there's other stats to go with it: https://i.imgur.com/wVg3Mhz.jpg

It's definitely on PS4. I know Hitman. He's a highly skilled player and wouldn't go around trolling people by pretending it's on PS4.

But so far it's just that 1 modder, I watched a vid from LispyLeaf (and it's just 10 minutes of rambling, I won't post the link because of that) and he says it's just that 1 guy.

I guess it's true, and now it's only a matter of time before modders infest PS4 by trapping everybody in cages and blowing up the entire session.

Have zero interest in jailbreaking ps3 or ps4, but apparently, simply googling it seems to give several (more or less fishy) links that suggest it's currently done and easy (simple USB install overwrite the firmware apparently)

 

For example, on the list, this one seemed quite plausible (again I don't know if it's the case, I have no interest in it, just curiosity)

Again, can be a complete joke, or some fishy stuff, but the steps at least seems plausible. I don't recommend testing it, trying it, But does someone know this site, are they 'serious' or just a complete fraud ? If not, they coiuld very well be lot's of jailbroken ps4 currently, and therefore lot's of gta cheaters...

 

I have not tested myself or downloaded anything from that link, feel free to remove it or my entire post if this is needed.

I mean the dude which got a menu working in single player GTA V on PS4 did so nearly two years ago (or perhaps even more) so I'd have guessed it was only a matter of time before stuff got used Online.

After what I heard that was a special case and only working on update version 1.76 because some fault that Sony did or something like that. Didn't work on any update version before or after but you're probably right that it was bound to happen sooner or later.

I'm still hoping that there's another explanation like modded job from ps3 and bringing the Minigun out from job combined with a god mode glitch but it's probably far fetched, we had a good run as long as it lasted

Ps4 jailbreak is very big thing and when thats happens,you will see a lot posts on internet.Usb mode menu exist on Ps3,but you cant play with other players and its limited(doesnt have all options like real one),as far I know.And I am sure that ps4 usb menu is fake.And why only gtao,gtao is not only game on Ps4.If they can cheat I am sure there will be cheaters in other games.

the tl;dr is if you do see a modder then they're basically a unicorn. Jailbreaks are neither widespread nor easy, but possible. I'm on xbone so I don't know the details of playing gtao/psn on older firmwares.

PC is a battle R* can't win with modders & cheaters.

Current Gen consoles though they hold a solid bet on, due to it's their best way to make SC sales.

It's why old gen consoles have gone to crap too, because the current gens are what they focus on/manage.

 

If you cross paths with a modder/money dropper on current gen, it's a rare occurrence & likely it's a player that won't last long.

Can't you you just hop on the 360 get your gta acc modded or get some money drop and then later on hop on your Xbox One and you would have the money on your Xbox One? Bc I have my gta character transferred to my Xbox 360 and my Xbox One

It wouldn't have worked anyway. You couldn't hop back and forth. Once you "transferred" (actually creating a copy of your account progress for the new console), they were treated as two separate accounts. You could still play on old gen, but nothing you made there would appear on your current gen account. Also, how have you still not managed to make any money since April?
