Apparently Oregon is full of morons driving 2 ton machines but can't pump gas

There are only two states in the U.S Oregon and NY's retarded cousin New Jersey they're governments have apparently deemed their residents too stupid to

• Pull into a gas station
• Drive up to a gas pump
• Turn off car
• Get out of car
• Open gas tank lid
• Unscrew Gas Cap
• Slide card to pay
• Lift nozzle
• Select gas grade
• Put nozzle into hole
• Pull up on lever to dispense gas
• Wait til you hear a click or you've reached the amount you want
• Let go of lever
• Put nozzle back into it's cradle
• Screw gas cap back in
• Close gas cap lid
• Select yes for receipt
• Open car door
• Get into car
• Start car
• Put into drive
• Pull away from pump
• Drive to exit
• Pull out into traffic and be on your merry way

But then again that is a lot of steps to do just to put fuel into your car and must require a PhD in order to be able to do it without setting yourself on fire
