Crash while taking over Starfish Island territories

While I was taking over gang turf on Starfish Island my game crashed. Here's what was in the minidump file:

Sorry to bump into this thread but i have the similar thing, i've been trying to get atention for about 2 months huh, i don't want to be mean, just saying.

Made my own thread a while ago.

I think I might have some new info on this bug: the last three times it happened, there was notification pop up right before it crashed, it could possibly be a message about a hood being under attac and I think it's limited to the Starfish Island tur4f, because I took over some hoods in Ocean Beach and the attack notification for these ones didn't cause the game to crash. EDIT: I tested it again and this time I saw the notification and the area on the map flashing. It definitely happens when a hood on Starfish Island is under attack. Here's the minidump:

Seems like it's definitely related to the game's HUD/radar. I'll try to test the feature soon to check for issues.

Managed to replicate the error. Thanks for reporting!

 

A tip: use the "AttackMyTurf" cheat when you suspect a simillar issue is present. If you take over one turf only, a rival gang next to the turf will always attack the only turf you own in the city you are in, so after using the cheat, the game will either work fine or crash.

Glad I could help. Does that mean you know how to solve it? It's weird that it seems to only affect Starfish Island, because I have taken over some turf in Ocean Beach and those get attacked just fine, without crash. Maybe it's got something to do with the Diaz gang? This might be a long shot, but you mentioned the HUD/radar, so could it possibly be that the Diaz gang doesn't have an icon to show on the radar?
