Grand Theft Auto VI

1970s

Vegas only

2020 release

 

 

Map focus:

City - The Strip focus (gambling, crime and corrupt cop missions)
Desert - Area 69 focus (military, alien UFO and weapon missions)

Ghost towns

 

No countryside focus (San Andreas and 5)

No city focus (GTA 3 and 4 covered it)

No ocean focus (Vice and 5)

 

 

Vehicles:

Odd vehicles (Hovercraft, segways/hoverboard, monster trucks, self driving prototype?)

Planes (more large planes, military stuff again, UFO and alien concepts)

Driving school return

Soft-body destruction like GTA4

 

 

Radio:
Classic rock

Punk

Jazz

R&B/soul

Glam

 

 

Weapons:

Knife focus (extensive moves and combos)
Tommy guns

Explosives

More fireworks

 

 

 

  • Seamless entering of interiors in every building
  • Complete world destruction (mission areas destroyed will have the mission "not accessible" while the destroyed area goes "under construction" for 2-3 day cycles)
  • More parachuting missions, custom parachutes via image upload, cargo parachutes for missions, backup parachute as parachutes should be destroyable

 

 

I have been lurking GTA Forums since 2003 and this is no low effort post. I have been dreaming of a 1970s based GTA since Agent was announced. I left this post vague to easily visualize what I vision as the GTA to come. I feel Vegas would be the best to capture that 1970 American feel with gambling and Area 51 rumors being the focus of GTA6. This could be the perfect GTA game and I will gladly wait til 2025 for the perfect game to exist on PS5.

No offense,but mixing past setting like the 1970s with all the ridiculous unrealistic stuff would be a mess bigger than current GTA Online.While I'd love the 1970s setting,and a 1970s Las Venturas would be cool,I wouldn't want focus on stuff like Area 69, aliens, UFOs and other ridiculous things.

The story should be mostly realistic,it should be about crime (mafia was very powerful in the 70s, those times were also the golden age of outlaw biker gangs, and early street gangs started to appear),and there should be equal focus on both the city and the countryside towns.

Gameplay should be realistic too.If there would be any unrealistic novelty vehicles like jetpacks, flying cars and vehicles that wouldn't appear long after the 70s (such as segways and self driving cars),they should only be available by using cheat codes,and military vehicles should be hard to get,only available in well protected military bases,not to mention realistic for the time period.

This all the way. I'm all for absurd moments but if Rockstar went overboard with all the wacky sh*t it may as well not even be a GTA game at that point.
