^ it does in many cases. I think it was cornholio or coleco who explained before about it because they actually did exchange kills.

 

Best bet is beat up an afk guy with the gun you want to boost, be "that guy" and host a trap job, borrow a second console and gta beating up a dummy account, have a friend jump on their dummy account to help you out, or play death matches. Unfortunately people judge skill based on k/d so finding someone to trade will be difficult.

I wanna chip away at the unlocks over time, looking to add a friend that'll help as I ain't looking to host jobs and screw players nor chase idle players via lobby hopping.

 

Appreciate it's not for everyone, but that's why the thread exists. None of my friends wanted to, lol.
