I have not played GTA5 in a few years, and I just now purchased the game for Steam. I am wondering if my Online Character will transfer over from my PS3 saves? I am able to login to the R*Social Club and I can see all my old progress from my PS3 saves for both single player and multiplayer, and I can even see original rank, avatar, and cash, that I had on my ps3 game I wasnt ranked very high, but it would be nice to still have the little bit of cash and silly avatar outfit I had Edited December 26, 2017 by severed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Answer: No, this is not possible. There is currently no feature available to transfer character data between platforms. ChrisinLiberty Posted July 8, 2018 Share Posted July 8, 2018 Unfortunately, Character Transfer ended and we're on the same boat of not being able to transfer... Before the transfer service ended, you could transfer your Character via a character transfer button on the pause menu. From there, you might link your Social Club to make it share your Steam and PS3 GTA V details, along with PS3 Network authentication if necessary. I couldn't transfer my characters because I forgot one of my Social Club accounts and my PS3 Account information, and due to my PS3 being far away from where I am right now. The Character Transfer shut down sometime when you asked this question, in case you're wondering, so sadly, you can't transfer your character. At least I can suggest remaking your character from scratch and start over? You'll get to the point where you used to thrive in the PS3 eventually. Does this alternate solution work?
