I enjoy it the most on PS3. I play more on PC because it looks a lot nicer, but PS3 is a lot more enjoyable due to the smooth framerate. On PC it stutters every second and it's annoying as hell.

On the 360, cuz that's the only system I played it on, lol.

Algonquin Assassin

Only played on PS3 and 360, but out of those two 360 for me. It's the version I've completed the most.

Gnocchi Flip Flops

I would say PS3 because that's how it's been til 2015. But since my PS3 disc drive quit and I have BC Xbox One, I enjoy it most on One. Runs smoother than ever and loads fast.

Played on Both PS3 and PC. I say PS3 despite crap resolution and graphics. The framerate was more consistent than the PC.

I would have probably favoured the X360 version over the PS3 version because it looks sharper and apparently the frame rate is smoother, however I don't an an Xbox 360.

PS3, because IV PC port is sh*tty as hell

Although, this was back then, I already sold PS3 since 2014, and already sold GTA IV since 2009

Have it on the PC and the PS3. Have to go for the PC - my PC that was top spec in 2015 handles it like a dream now despite the much maligned optimisation.

Xbox 360. For some reason, it felt smooth as hell playing on Xbox.

PS3 and Xbox 360. I've played the story and multiplayer on the former console, but when the people I was playing with moved on, I fully switched to the latter and sold PS3 version. I've played both add-ons on Xbox and now due to backwards compatibility I can enjoy whole game on Xbox One.

It's kinda both on PS3 and 360. I first played IV on 360, but went on to play most of IV on PS3 and played EFLC there for the first time. So I voted for PS3, but I'm enjoying the backwards compatibility on Xbox One now, and it is the best version of IV that I played so far with the improved framerate and faster loading times.

pc i guess. despite the somewhat gay helicopter controls (got used to it) and the fact that it's just a poorly optimized mess it still manages to perform better then both console versions for me, although actually getting good performance is a matter of pure f*cking luck with the port

PC's version is garbage. Even GTA 5 runs better on my computer lmao

I never completed the PC version, I just use the Iron Man mod.

360 was what I've done every run on, I prefer controller over mouse and keyboard any day.

PC because ability to modding the game but Low FPS but luckily I have 2GB NVIDIA GEForce 940MX Graphic Card so I can maxed out the setting to get 40-50 FPS. But PS3 is only console version that I played but it runs smoothly compared to PC (Damn shuttering).

You know, you can always change the helicopter controls :p WASD + Numpad for flying, Left Shift to shoot.

It have some errors yes but:

Nothing feels like using a keyboard and mouse.

Defs PC, better resolution and FPS, 360 next and then PS3 last with the worst, horrible frame drops and looks like someone smeared Vaseline over the screen.

PC version is the best. Would've chosen it in December 2008 already, let alone now.

Video editor, not just for making videos but for easy saving of good moments.

Mods, graphic mods

Enhanced MP

K+M, not just controller

VR + First-person mode (mod)

Independence FM (playing background music while playing is not the same, especially with limited clunky PS3 player)

PS3 version HAD smooth FPS as an advantage but sacrificed graphics heavily so sometimes it looked only slightly better than VCS on PS2. With modern PCs this 1 last advantage has gone.

PS3 has more bugs which are fixed in PC version. Constant audio crashes (radio and some sounds not playing) and mixed radios restarting from the beginning were really annoying.

I've owned it on both 360 and PS3. 360 was the system I got it for first, but then I got the PS3 version a while later so I could have it for both systems (since, well... my mom enjoys playing videogames and would hog the 360 hahaha). I didn't play the PS3 version all that much, but from what little I played I prefer the 360 version. I just remember the PS3 version having longer load times and not looking quite as nice, but it's not like it sucked ass compared to the 360 version or anything. I did end up selling my PS3 copy later on because I barely used it. (God, I had so much disposable income back then...)

Oh, and the 360 version can be played on the Xbox One :D I haven't gotten too far in that either (trying to focus on my GTA V playthrough), but from what I've played, it's probably the best the game will ever look and play, outside of a remaster or the PC version (if you've got a rig that can run it and have worked out all the fu*kery, anyway :p).

PC has audio issues too, at least in multiplayer on rare occasions after lobby transitions/changes. Radios break and vehicles don't make any sounds making you restart game.

Well I have the game on both PC and Xbox 360, but I'd say I enjoyed the 360 version the best. Why? Because that's the platform I first got the game on back in 2008, and boy how I had wanted to get the game before I finally managed to, and the experience of playing the game for the first time was like no other. Except possibly GTA V. With that said, I mostly play it on the PC nowadays.
