If you could pick only one protagonist, which one would it be

Franklin, I really liked those hood missions. He's just a great banger. I also love when him and Lamar pair up.

Michael is my favourite.

I like Franklin but he's not the best character ever.

I didn't like Trevor.

So ... MICHAEL!!!!!!

I'd choose Franklin as the sole protagonist. Due to three protagonist system, he didn't get much attention and gets termed as boring, bland but he would be interesting as a solo protagonist. With Franklin, the gangbanging scene of LS would have got more focus. All the gang warfares, dope peddling, drive-by shootings would have made V more interesting. We had CJ as a gangster character but he was all over the place, managing casinos, all the spy for hire things. So, I pick Franklin.

So you don't want CJ to evolve and progress further in life? Why do you treat him different than other gangsters of the series?

Lol, I'm not jealous of CJ's success, but the success he got by breaking into military bases and stealing alien technology doesn't fits good  in the storyline especially when the protagonist has returned after spending five years, mugging and carjacking people in Liberty City and is trying to save his brother and the gang from the brutal turf wars and crack epidemic, that's all I'm saying.

Well in that case no GTA makes sense. How can one dude kill thousands and get away with it?

The thing is not about killing thousands during the gameplay and missions, I'm talking about the storyline and how much sense it makes according to the protagonist's background and motivations.

But CJ was trained by big smoke. 😀

Also CJ wasn't the typical normal gangster. The 20 minute introduction shows how smoke is afraid of his skills.

Also I take fun missions any day even if they don't make sense. Beats going to point B killing a dude and going back to A for 90+ missions. Mission Design>Story logic
