North Yankton Glitch

Note: This glitch probably works only on PS4. I don't know if Xbox or PC has the equivalent of these steps on their respective systems. So if you mnow how to do it on Xbox and PC, let me know and I'll edit it in onto this post.

 

 

Have you ever wanted to go to North Yankton, dreaming of the dozens of exploration you can do there? Dreaming of the nice pictures you can take? Well now here's your chance on PS4 at least! There's a nee glitch that allows you to go to North Yankton in Director Mode, after 4 years of every glitch letting you into North Yankton being patched. Here are the steps:

 

 

Steps:

1) Go into Story Mode and start a new game

2) Press the Home Button, go to Recent Activities in GTA's Start menu, press on any friend's recent activity (Collected a Bounty works best). Hightlight the Start GTA Online button but don't press it

3) Double Press Home Button

4) When you get control of Michael in the Prolouge, shoot the woman on the right

5) When the screen flashes blue, double press home button and press on the Start GTA Online button

6) Accept the alert

7) Back out of GTA and disconnect internet (as in go to Network and uncheck the Internet box)

8) Go back into GTA. Done correctly, you'll see a black screen then the Internet Lost alert. Accept the alert.

9) Reconnect the internet BUT wait until your trophy data and Friends Playing is displayed on the Start menu. Once it is, go into GTA

10) Done Correctly, You'll see Michael standing in North Yankton. Quickly Pause, Go to Rockstar Editor and select Director Mode

11) I shouldn't have to tell you this: Have fun in NY

 

Note: Replaying the mission won't work. It'll freeze every time on Step 10 and send you back online. So unfortunately you won't have any custom cars in NY. You can still get a car by getting cops on you and stealing a car, though.

 

If you were confused by Step 2, press the Home Button on the Controller then press down. That's the Start menu. You see the Activities menu? That's Recent Activities.

Its alot easier than you think.Besides who doesnt want to take pictures at any time of day in NY

On PS4 it spawned me in the water where North Yankton should be, but the place isn't loaded in

 

EDIT my timing was off now to steal a plane!

Okay so to get a car there, you gotta go there, set it as user location 1, then teleport somewhere else to get a car, then open your map, set a waypoint in the bottom right corner of the screen, and teleport to user location 1

To be honest it was my first visit, because I'm actually for 3 years not bothered myself with glitches. It was interesting, thank you for sharing.

 

But for sure, people who keep telling that NY is half ready to be released are completely wrong. It's a big no men land snowy desert with only one low resolution street, kinda far away from even 5 percent maid.

 

Also, what is it? Looks like photo of European city...
