GTA Online Laggy Please Help!

I recently started having problems only in gta online. It just started lagging out of no where to the point where it is un-playble. In Single Player I can get a solid 60fps but in Online it just started running like sh*t.

 

My Specs

960m/gtx 960 desktop wise

i7 -4720hq

16gb of ram

Could it be because of the snow and related weather effects? You're not the only one who's reported some fps hits.
