SCRIPTHOOK: FATAL ERROR / MODS BROKE or GAME CRASHES w/LATEST UPDATE?

So you've updated GTA V with the latest GTA: Online Update but you are experiencing one of the following issues

GAME CRASHES > FATAL ERROR: SCRIPTHOOK V
NONE OF YOUR MODS WORK
YOU'VE UPDATED SCRIPTHOOK V BUT GAME IS STILL CRASHING

If you are experiencing one of the errors listed above then keep reading to find out how to fix the issue.

After EVERY SINGLE TIME the game is update ScriptHookV is GOING TO BREAK there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO to get round this issue except preventing the game from downloading the latest update.

Some people may choose to prevent their game from downloading the DLC/Update so they can still use Mods & ScriptHookV without any issues until Alexander Blade releases and updated version of ScriptHookV.

So that is one of your options but If you're one of the unlucky ones who wasn't able to prevent the game from installing the new update then you are out of luck until a new version of ScriptHook V is updated by Alexander Blade.

Q: MY GAME IS CRASHING WHILE LOADING AND I AM GETTING A SCRIPTHOOK V FATAL ERROR, HOW CAN I FIX THIS?

A: There is NOTHING you can do at the moment to fix this you need to wait until Alexander Blade releases an Updated version of SCRIPTHOOK V

Q: THE SCRIPTHOOKV THREAD IS LOCKED, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO UPDATE SCRIPTHOOKV / WHEN WILL SCRIPTHOOK V BE RELEASED?

A: There is NO ETA no ScriptHook V updates as it takes Alexander Blade some time to sort through all the mumbo jumbo R* adds to the code each update to find the correct information he needs to update the ScriptHookV so it can take a while before it's updated

Q: WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THE LATEST UPDATED VERSION OF SCRIPTHOOKV?

Q: I HAVE DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED SCRIPTHOOKV BUT MY GAME IS STILL CRASHING, WHAT DO I DO?

A: Just like with ScriptHook V all of your mods will need to be updated as well to work with the new update so I would suggest going to the publisher of the mods you are using and see if they have released and updated version of their mod that is compatible with the current update.

Q: NONE OF MY MODS ARE WORKING WHAT DO I DO?

A: Check and make sure you installed the new ScripthookV is installed in your GTA V directory, If it is then refer to the question above this one.

Q: I HAVE INSTALLED THE NEW SCRIPTHOOKV AND UPDATED ALL MY MODS BUT MY GAME IS STILL CRASHING, WHAT DO I DO?

A: If you are 100% that you have downloaded the Updated version of ScripthookV and the updated version of all your mods then you missed something somewhere, One of your mods is causing issues and the only way to find out which mod is causing the issues then you need to do a process of elimination and go though each of your installed and remove them and one by one reintroduce them into your GTA V directory until you come upon the mod that is causing the crash and remove it and wait for the dev to update the mod.

Q: I HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF SCRIPTHOOKV BUT WHEN I TRY AND GO ONLINE MY GAME CRASHES, WHY?

A: Because Mods/Menus are PROHIBITED from being used Online so in cooperation with Rockstar Games, Alex Blade has put a spot in the ScriptHookV which will force close your game to prevent you from going Online by accident
