If you select a player to blast as the game reprocesses the number of players in the lobby, your target will get swapped to the player below on the list.

 

Yes. 750k to bomb the wrong guy because Rockstar is sh*t.

Yeah this has been happening with muggers, bounties, messages etc. from launch. Not news.

Isnt the 750K option for a random target?

The 500K option lets you choose who to target.

Well, that's not too bad, at least you got a kill with it. :D

I was alone in a public session with a player who got mad at my Akula. He then went in passive mode and drove to his facility.

Knowing what's going on, I too went into passive mode (while hovering in stealth mode)... and waited. Then I heard the explosion of the Orbital Cannon.

I lol'd in the chat and he rage quit. :lol:I wonder what option he's chosen.

No, you select a player from a list you want to obliterate with that option.

Would shutting the game down immediately after firing the cannon prevent it saving (thus preserving the $500k?)

Yeah, and you can fire it again when you load back online if you do it quickly enough.

I used it to kill some dude sitting in a tank killing people that left their facilities..worth it. And I have the trophy with their name on it.

Heard of a free shot at Christmas, gonna trade with a buddy.

 

Best money I spent, buying this thing, don't think I've put so much into achieving an award/trophy in my games man. Makes that CMM run look like an afterthought...

So the same bullsh*t with the mugger? You know, this reminds me of arcade games. You pay a sum of money to play, and if you lose or want to play again, you gotta pay again.

 

This is exactly what this is. It's just more profit for Cockstar and Take 2 Much Interactive.

Yeah. There's an Orbital Cannon problem, alright. Its existence. Time for it to gtfo of the game. And whoever came up with the idea at Rockstar to get football punted in the balls.

I would also say that it's just not worth it unless there's an asshole who can only use vehicles annoying the sh*t outta everybody.

 

Aside from that it's not really worth the both and REALLY not worth the money.
