Amongst the best players (tryhards), there are several little rules. Just in case you've ever wondered why someone cheers like a baboon over the mic after shanking you.

These are not official in any way. Consider it a kind of code, guidelines and nothing more.

 

1. A stab means you're up by a thousand. It means nothing if you stab someone on your friends list unless you can prove that you befriended them solely to stab them.

 

2. Sniping someone out of a jet is up by three thousand.

 

3. Leaving the session after getting one kill negates that kill, unless said players are already known enemies, or unless the player you killed refuses to fight for their kill back. If you leave after being killed once, that kill is considered legit.

 

4. Glitched kills and kills achieved by glitching count against you.

 

5. If someone stabs you and afterwards, you kill them at least five times in a row and achieve a 3.0 on them, the stab is considered null and void due to their inability to fight consistently after their skill kill.

 

6. Thou shalt not whine about dying or make excuses. Nobody cares and nobody ever will.

 

7. If you can't prove you killed a player with either a vid or a screenie, then it doesn't matter how many witnesses there were.

 

8. There is no global score. What matters is how many sessions you've bodied an opponent in, in other words, how many times you've been able to 'expose' them.

 

9. Kills achieved in death matches count. If they body you 5-2 in free roam and you body them 12-2 in a RNG, you're currently leading. They had the option not to place themselves in such a situation where the odds would be against them, remember.

None of that makes sense and tryhards aren't the best players.

 

tryhard (plural tryhards) (derogatory) A person usually of little talent who tries hard to succeed, especially through imitation, usually to gain fame or popularity.
