Is there a setting where I can just play contact missions

I am thinking in giving gta online a shot now that has alot of features. cool properties, story mode characters, new vehicles and weapons, the jetpack!!!.

I dont care about adversary modes, captures or death matches.

You can launch them manually. After completing one, the "job select" menu usually has contact missions you can choose from.

Or, if you want to be efficient, you can create a playlist of nothing but contact missions.

However, if you want any of what you just listed, you're gonna have to do A LOT of missions.

You're gonna find that gtao is surprisingly hollow when playing by yourself.

I disagree. I have been online for 127 days and more than half of those has probably been solo and i enjoyed it alot.

Solo in invite only is great for contact missions and a single player type of game play. Overall the game performs better than in public lobbies and it is easy to join multiplayer jobs and activities when you wish to. Venture into public lobbies when you want mayhem, chaos, random griefers, and open world death match type of play.

Playlists, the armored Karuma, and the Buzzard will make playing contact missions very much better.

For playlists start with a 6 or 7 mission list with a created gta style race tacked on after the last mission. That created race will allow for pick up of free shotgun, smg, and pistol ammo along with free grenades, stickies, gas, and molotovs. Place the race finish location to be near stores to purchase snacks.

If you decide to play with others, go "On Call".

That way if you're kicked/booted out of the mission lobby for any reason, at least you'll remain in the session unaffected/no loading.

Cancel going on call by opening the "On Call" option again for any game mode, but exiting the phone instead of confirming.
