If you could only have 1 weapon in each category?.

Just curious, saw this mentioned (I think in next DLC thread) that some players might like this idea, I do myself TBH.

Anyway, Just curious as to what each player would choose if they could only have 1 single weapon per slot, though in this scenario, we'll have our fists and a melee weapon of choice too.

Will you go for the most powerful, most flexible, fastest, biggest cache of ammo, or be smart and choose weapons to compliment each other... Or is it strictly favourites of course, we all have or guilty pleasures, would they get in?.

I'll pop mine up tomorrow as I have really just slapped this up without giving the answer too much thought...

Though, for melee, it'll definitely be a baseball bat... Though I do enjoy The Walking Dead, that's not why, lol...

Reminds me of the Baseball Furies from an all time favourite movie of mine (great soundtrack too) that R* themselves even released a cool lil' game of... The Warriors.

Peace guys, thoughts please...

HamwithCheese

I feel like online characters should have a load out of 1 weapon per slot and much less ammunition, that way single player would feel a bit more special.

Anyways, my list is:

Ap pistol for drivebys

Combat Mg mk2

Assault Carbine mk2

Pump action Shotgun mk2

Heavy Sniper mk2

Molotov Cocktails

Rpg

And the Hammer or hatchet

Same here but brass knuckles in melee spot (I never use them), and I basically never use the Assault Rifle slot at all.

Veru original, I like it!

As for myself, my loadout is based on favourites.

Pistol: Revolver MkII - For personal matters.

Machine Gun: Combat Machine Gun - "Get some! Get some! Get some!" (It's an M60 in the film, but the one we had was left behind by mistake at Escobar International Airport).

Assault Rifle: Compact Assault Rifle - For motorcycle drive-bys and because of good memories from S.T.A.L.K.E.R games.

Sniper Rifle: Heavy Sniper MkII - My favourite weapon, the king of semi-automatic rifles.

Melee: Hatchet/Battle Axe - When the solution to the problem at hand is best resolved 9th century style.

Shotgun: Double-Barreled Shotgun - Best way to say what you mean and be heard when you're going over the speed limit on a Western Motorcycle Company cruiser.

Heavy Weaponry: Minigun - It's a well known fact that the music that plays at Trevor's coming out of the Paleto Bank also plays when my character is wielding her own. Such a sweet bass line on that music piece...

Thrown: Molotov - Because everything must burn to ashes.

Writing about this is making me anxious to pick up the game again. Can't wait.

@ .Fingers... For both dude, imagine this 'change' would be wholesale. Wherever you go, whatever you do, freemode/jobs/heists.

Me...

Pistol Mk II (Stunning)

Combat Machine Gun Mk II (A beast)

Carbine Mk II (The original, this'll be my silenced weapon too)

Heavy Sniper Mk II (Yet to add the explosive ammo, will soon. Either way, need a long range)

Baseball Bat (Brutal, simple)

Assault Shotgun (For indoor fights)

Minigun (Can't beat a bit of Arnie, lol)

Sticky Bombs (Flexible)

Not as original as some, but these tend to be my go-to's. I love the regular Carbine, the Pistil Mk II also. The sound of the Assault Shotgun is pretty cool too.

Though some choices seem obvious, I do like seeing that we all have our favourites for melee kills, lol. Be it me and my bat, a blade, some knucks, or something a lil' more Jason, lol... Fun times, poor NPC's...

<snipped for space>

Not long now... SNOWBALL FIGHT!... BANG! (goes the RPG numpty, lol, always one).

I can't wait for the snow myself too, always fun to do the favourite jobs in my favourite, slippery cars. And the scenery, just awesome... Feels so peaceful sometimes too.

The Firework launcher is very much a guilty pleasure of mine. I've seen players keen to get this out of their arsenal, but I do enjoy this lil' baby.

And the treasure hunt leading to the Revolver, well, with the little bit of music the added for when we found the clues, and that animation...

Can't wait for that game, the potential for it to be simply the best looking game ever is unreal. If the atmosphere ramps it up from the previous one (that to this day, I still love to hunt in tall trees), just really has me stoked at what's to come that we don't know/anticipate.

I missed this I believe, but your not wrong, lol.

We're a walking disaster zone out there, so many weapons, so much ammo. Compared to the old GTA's, so much available...

And yet, I could easily take a Chainsaw and Flamethrower, lol... Madness.
