If you save enough with this mod, your save file will break. Might be the main.scm that you supplied.

soon GTA LC will be obsolete :D

I think it's been obsolete long time ago. Which is sad because the VC engine is much better and the game is optimized a lot. If somehow we could have rim's xbox mod for GTA LC i would be great...

I know it's a bit offtopic. But why wouldn't Rim's mod work with GTA LC? Cars and maps should be working just fine. Skinned peds should be already in GTA LC. Quite big part of Xbox HD mod depends on skygfx which is already for VC with all the xbox/neo stuff.

You still have to port the map I guess? I thought that just replacing data/maps and adding xbox_models.img and xbox_hd_textures.img wouldn't work.

I like these little QoL updates for GTA3, if GTA3 ever got a new port I'd like to think these would be included just to bring the gameplay closer in line to VC/SA.

What are the scm updates for?

It fixes bugs in a few missions by using "SET_CHAR_CAN_BE_SHOT_IN_VEHICLE" opcode, try to kill drivers in Turismo with the original scm, and you'll see what I mean.

But does it brick saves when you save like 3 times?

Strange, i completed the game with this mod twice, and everything was fine. PM me your broken save, i am interested in fixing this.

Anyway why is cleo required? whats the matter Fire_Head. Also could you tell me whats changed in Vehicles.col? because i want to use this with the XBOX HD Mod and it already have modified vehicles.col and i dont know which one should i use, or what should i edit in it in col editor.

1) Cleo is required to run updated main.scm that includes fixes for a missions, you can ignore cleo installation, but in this case updated main.scm is no need to install.

2) Without updated vehicles.col the game can't check if bullet hit glass.

The game freezes and crashes when I get into a police pursuit, when I shoot the oncoming police cars windshields the game freezes, installed every file from the mod and tried with and without the SCM. Is it an issue on my end or with the mod? How can it be fixed?

Why do I need a cleo? It works without it.

Pretty nifty IMO. But what exactly did you change in the col file? The Xbox HD mod has its own vehicles col file and it'd be nice to apply your changes to that file to ensure utmost compatibility.

As a side note, I think all GTA3 is missing now is the ability to damage vehicles by punching them, the ability to flip vehicles over by turning the wheels, and the ability to keep a vehicles tyres turned when exiting it.

The col file is needed to be able to break the windows, but its easy to enable that with a col editor.

The window doesn't break if I rename the 'mod' folder to "Breakable Windshields".
