I still don't finish Doomsday heist full, but the ACT II in the submarine was amazing

 

but by far one of my favorites is the human labs final, the flying team is a little lame, but be in the ground team is amazing, it feels like a movie

Doomsday.

 

Entertaining and challenging.

 

I mean, eventually someone will come up with a way to skip parts and avoid enemies but in the mean time, having to go through guns blazing against NPCs who actually do damage is quite entertaining.

 

And I know all the other heists have NPCs to take down, but this heist actually requires a modicum of strategy (especially if there's only 2 of you... but even today when I did it with 3 other people and the entire time was just us protecting the Level 40 player who just wouldn't switch from an SMG)

Doomsday Heist. It's essentially a James Bond Movie minus the whole Spy thing, complete with Supervillain with a Mountain Lair, a powerful army at his biding, and plans to either conquer or destroy the world.

 

Also the plot twist at Act 2 was pretty cool. And I don't if this was scripted or not, but when I got back into fres roam after the finale, the clouds were dark as hell, to really hammer the point home how bleak the situation is.

It's exactly the same that happens in the act 2 finale, you miss everything being on the plane.. to me that's just bad mission planning, rockstar should have made us all go in the sub..

But I do agree here dude, the Doomsday heist is awesome for allowing us into more buildings. And the finale... Yeah, I liked that.

If Doomsday didn't have that aggravating impossible Hacking for the fourth server, AND the hard as balls Avengers setup.... I'd say Doomsday.

Doomsday is much more entertaining than regular heists plus we have the option to "heist" with less than 4 people. Which is probably the biggest plus in my book.

Doomsday managed to create a balance between challenging and entertaining. There are some memorable missions where I had audible reactions to certain events. That’s not easy to do in a game and I think the Act III finale puts this one at the top for me.

I really enjoyed the Bogden Problem. It got pretty frustrating rescuing UL Paper, but this cat and mouse game I was playing with the buzzards was a lot of fun.

Doomsday by far. Easily trumps my original favorite heist of all time: The Humane Labs Raid.

 

The way these setups and finales get your adrenaline pumping is unlike anything I've ever seen in this game before. The challenge only makes it more aggravating and intense.

Interesting poll but I can't vote. IMO the poll is not a fair vote, each of the old heists is individual but the new ones are all lumped in one vote. Should spilt Dommsday heists into Act I, Act II & Act III to get a sense of the best individual heist.

And add another poll for Original Heists & Doomsday Heists if you want to get a sense of which campaign is better.

 

Or don't, just saying it's hard for me to answer since the choices aren't fair at all imo.

Enemies dont change between normal and hard difficulty, atleast i dont think so. You only get one extra life to your crew.

Pretty sure they get slightly nerfed on normal difficulty

It's not a fair question. Original heists have been around like forever. I and many other players have played them dozens of times. Doomsday is new so it is more exciting. Can only answer your question after playing doomsday playing as many times I played the original heists.

Agreed, this is exactly why I haven't voted.

 

I liked the original heists just fine and the new ones are set-up well too. Great to see more interiors and fresh locations. I also had more fun doing the new heists than the 2yr old overplayed ones (which is to be expected - the old ones have an uphill battle).

 

Unfortunately, the bullet-sponge enemies, random spawns and super accurate AI is a very over-simplistic way to add a sense of intensity. Therefore I spent significantly more on regular ammo, special MoC/Avenger ammo-types, MKII weapon upgrades, snacks, etc. which drained more resources and more time. The old heists also felt more open to different strategies whereas the new ones seem to have less flexibility in how to go about them. The new heists make up for this a bit since only two or three people can knock this out and people can even join-in via spectating.

 

The old heists are familiar to randoms and seem quicker to run through based on the relatively lower intensity. This is beneficial in the long run when the new update ages and the influx of people on for the new DLC (or at least trying the new heists) dwindles. But the new heists are sure to get the lions share of attention in the short-term and the two-three player aspect is attractive to would be hosts.

 

It's a very mixed bag and I'm unsure where my vote would land if the aforementioned poll options were added.

I actually liked the Doomsday Heist. Although the finale is sorta derpy with waves of bullet sponge enemies. For the most part I liked it alot, liked the good use of indoor areas etc.

 

I found the payouts to be, respectable. Largely because I did the entire thing on hard with one friend. So hoo-ray for finally being able to do 2 person Heists, wish the others could be done like that or at least where possible. Pac Standard could be done 2 person.

Humane Labs acquire EMP/Hydra is my favorite job in all of GTAO, but if I had to choose a favorite heist as a whole, it'd be Doomsday. It's challenging, new, and makes it easy to find work outside of contact missions and Deliver EMP jobs.

I haven't really played much of the Doomsday Heist, and I haven't been paying much attention to the plot of it. I don't like any of these characters. I don't think I'm having very much fun with the missions in it either.

I like the Prison Break the best so far.

Doomsday has a decent plot, but severe problems with the freeroam crate crap being forced on it, and a lack of real difficulty options in gear choice - You're just 2-4 standard GTA dudes, against an army of bullet sponge aimbot with extremely deadly aim. The challenge was fun for a while but quickly got tiring.
