So, I have been using the carbine rifle mk2 since gun running came out and I noticed that it fires really slow, what is the best one in your opinion ?

Its the same situation as we had before mk. 2 guns were introduced, just try them all and go with what feels best because the differences aren't pronounced enough to make any one the clear-cut best.

Eh no one, and all of them at the same time, because ALL are f*cking same, second reloading, and if you want more accurate gun you will have aimbot.
Seriously driving and even shoting in V is tragic catastrophe. There are amateurs sh*t games, that are more challenging and enjoyable.

Yellow Dog with Cone

In my opinion:

For PvP: Carbine Rifle MKII

For PvE: Bullpup Rifle up close, Carbine Rifle MKII from medium range.

The Special Rifle MKII seems to be exactly the same as the Carbine Rifle, but with less range, if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me.

So I tested them all with a level 90 friend and apparently the bullpup rifle mk2 and the carbine rifle mk2 are the best (carbine rifle kills faster at medium range \ bullpup kills faster in close range).

Voodoo was right.

Since I won't be shooting from a vehicle and will use other weapons on players in vehicles I chose to apply armor piercing bullets to the regular Carbine and just an extended mag for the Special Carbine (with silencer). I still rarely use those as I've been doing more PvE so I tend to just use the MkII LMG.

just curious, do you play with a controller on default settings? If so you should switch that asap to another controller scheme, I use Standard FPS2 and also switched drive-by aim so I aim with L1, shoot with R1 & drive with R2. That way you can run, aim & shoot comfotably without needing to moge your thumb off the stick.

IMO It's honestly one of the best shooting games once you find your proper controller scheme. Best to switch sooner than later because the default setting is garbage.

You're right. I've used the carbine rifle a lot, I've got 70 some thousand kills with it. Granted, 99.9% are NPC kills. But, I've noticed that even though the stats are identical (no movement in bars when switching weapons), the carbine has much greater range and accuracy.

Both rifles are equipped with all the MKII accoutrements. My personal opinion is that the Carbine MKII is the best all around. The Bullpup MKII is nice, but isn't very accurate. For me, the increased fire rate and damage doesn't offset the less accurate shooting. What's the point of more damage and power if the accuracy of the weapon can't deliver it?

Sadly the Special Carbine MkII is actually weaker than the Carbine MkII. Where you may ask? Range. Everything is exactly the same as the Carbine AR mkII except it has much less range. So as far as AR go. The Carbine Rifle MkII is still where its at imo.

This is the best answer IMO, but it is between the carbine and bullpup. Believe me, I've been testing it a LOT because I only want 1 in my weapon wheel, and it's down to these 2. Carbine feels that tiny bit more accurate and consistent, but the pup fires faster. It's neck-and-neck. If someone performs better with the Special, more power to them. Heck, the AK is still the most fun rifle, IMO.

The combat MG in first person/s

Here's the time to kill of every rifle and their mk2 version, it seems like the Special carbine and the Bullpup rifle mk2 have the shortest TTK of them all.

Also:

There is no difference in range, all Assault Rifles have a minimum damage fall off range of 47.5m, and they all have the same fall off damage multiplier of 0.3. (they do 0.3 their normal damage at 120 meters, their maximum range)

I recently upgraded the AR and the CR, and I'm liking the Carbine more since it seems to be more accurate than the Assault Rifle. Even without attachments (because they cost between $15K-$30K), the Carbine seems to be more precise against Survival enemies.

I used the MK II Carbine and Bullpup for a while but ultimately I went back to my trusty old Advanced Rifle, I like the overall design plus the Yusef Amir luxury finish more than anything the MK IIs offered, and the differences in performance are negligible.

To answer this question (IMO) definitively, one has to look at the base weapon and the Mk.2 variant and consider it's new "worth". As a result, and as being one of the more accurate assault rifles in fully automatic (with rounds landing in similar positions at ranges of 65m) then I'd have to say the Assault Rifle Mk.2 wins.

The only other Mk.2 that lands shots as accurately is the Special Carbine Mk.2, but there's basically no boost in power to that weapon unlike the Assault Rifle Mk.2. The only thing letting that down is the slow rate of fire, but it can be advantageous.

See, I've got the Assault Rifle Mk. II with armor piercing rounds, the Carbine Rifle Mk. II with normal rounds and a suppressor, and the Bullpup Rifle Mk.II with incendiary rounds. That's the strength of the Mk. II weapons- you can have different sorts of ammo.

PvE, the bullpup feels the best - specifically, shooting the gunners out of pursuing Mavericks, lock on and TTK seem best with the bullpup.

But I love the sound of the carbine too much.

PvP Combat MG, same as it was before MKII weapons were a thing.

The First Hunter

Carbine rifle is my main one without any special ammo.

I use Assault Rifle with FMJ, Special Carbine with Incendiary and Bullpup with suppressor and regular ammo.

I just love Carbine Rifle's sound and reload animation.
