It's virtually impossible to make decent money back from Smuggling (Hangar), but certain aircraft require a Hangar.

 

If you only have $3M, build a bit more up and get Facility first.

Facility. Then buy a hangar with the money you make with Doomsday Heists.

I wish I could sell my hangar. I havent made anything since I bought it. I get blowed right out of the sky every time I try to smuggle anything. I hate the hangar business and wish I could sell it I rather just have my buzzard.

Is it possible to upgrade aircraft without hanger? To add weapons, flares and such? Sorry for the lame question, I didnt play for months.

No. You need to buy the hanger AND the workshop inside it. That's the Rockstar paywall that so many people loathe, which has got higher and more difficult to traverse over the years, but it's the same paywall Rockstar have been using since the original heists when you needed to buy a high-end apartment.

I think I only sold once from the hangar...made 200k or something, it has alot of crates too, but it's only for cosmetics from now on. I will never sell from the hangar again.

 

You really don't need to do any business from the Hangar.

 

Just view it as some luxury space on were to have/store your aircrafts. If your Hangar is located in FZ. then there is always the bonus the get a Lazer & do some V.I.P missions with it.

What kind of a hanger are you looking for? A coat hanger? You're gonna need a very big hanger to hang your aircraft on! Perhaps a hangar would be better for storing aircraft rather than a hanger?

Facility first. Do the first act on hard with only one other person. That 85 percent cut will give you nearly enough for the hangar.

 

Hangar can be very, very profitable. You just need to have a decent organization, or double money airfreight sales. During those weeks of double money airfreight after SR dropped, I made a bit more than 8 million off it working either solo or with randoms. Not a ton, of course, but easily enough to pay for the hangar and half of its contents, with fun, quick missions to boot. So don't write it off. But the facility has quicker and instant potential.

I rarely see Air Traffic blinking, I see where some of the people that have hangars that say they get blown out of the sky. But when I was doing Biker Business Coke, oh my gawd....I would get pawned all over the place. That Coke, biker bisness, I really needed a body guard, I think it's designed that way. Perhaps the Air Freight hangar stuff is designed that way too.

 

My next investing will be in the facility of course and sh*t.
