Cars in my Muscle Garage keep ending up with crew emblems for whatever reason, so naturally this one gets stuck with it. I really like how it looks with the one I have, however.

My only complaints with this car are the lack of a removable top, and the low resolution firewall. We should've got different options for the firewall such as primary colour, secondary colour, livery pattern and checkerboard pattern(as pictured below).

Sounds amazing! Consider the age of the car it performs quite well around a track, the performance reminds me of the Rapid GT.

Adding turbo ruins the sound or nah?

 

Doesn't ruin it imo. But it fits with the style I went for. Can't remember if it's just the generic turbo sound or if it's more of the unique one. Lol

I would have a turbo version if we could see them strapped to the side of the engine,hanging out the side all plumbed in, think they missed a trick there.

Oh and this car is gooooooood.. rapid indeed, and apart from when driving like a lunatic she handles good aswell, really grippy at low to medium speeds, until you open her up.

Well, dang - turns out R* didn't pass up the opportunity to do a decent Valentine's Day tie-in, after all...

I've been planning this one out for months, and I like how it turned out - a kind of streamlined 'resto-rod' look, not a million miles away from what Eagle does with the Speedster, IMO.

 

 

 

I quite like how doing the classic red wheels/whitewalls, combined with removing the side panels, means that there's flashes of red to unify the whole look. Just a shame there isn't the option for lowrider-style interior customisation, or even just a trim recolour option - this thing really deserves red leather seats!

 

 

 

Parked it between my Fränken Stange and Hermes, in my US classics garage - having a more traditional hot rod next to the Stange makes me appreciate the latter more, since it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb quite so much...

Another quick garbage screenie (would have helped if the lighting had been a bit more cooperative, to be fair) - when I've got more than five minutes to spare, I want to get some proper photoshootin' done, to do the car justice!

 

 

 

This was the sort of thing I was aiming for - nothing too drastic, but with enough of the chrome removed/replaced, and with a few things deleted, to emphasise that it's souped up, rather than near-stock:

 

 

 

 

What I really like is that, like with some of the better Benny's cars, there's enough in the way of customisation that it's possible to come up with countless unique looks - going through the last few pages, I couldn't find single Hustler exactly like what I was planning to do with the one above. In fact, even where people have had similar ideas to each other, no two cars are exactly the same - that's the ideal standard for customisation options, R!

I feel your pain. Damn rockstar and their artificial limitations. I think Rockstar, like GTA itself, is the only game devs who's work I can both love and simultaneously despise.

The Benny's rims being restricted is just stupid, making them available for all vehicles would be a win-win for us and Rockstar, we want the expensive rims for our classics, and rockstar wants players to spend more money so that they'll buy sharkcards.

It's a bit quiet isn't it? I think I prefer the Hotknife's roar, even if it is a generic muscle sound that is shared with 200 other cars. Fränken Stange still beats everything in that department though, with maybe an honourary mention for the Tornado Rat Rod's startup.

With my headphones it is like, way, way loud. I prefer this to the Franken Stange tbh. Has a high revving nascar type of sound.I play with a quality pair of Sony studio headphones that I also use for recording music stuff, at least half the time I play, an yeah this baby along with the Stange, Mamba and XA21 all sound orgasmic with a pair of good cans. As much as I love the V8 sounds, I also love stuff like the Savestra when turning over or at top speed. I know this is way off in the bushes, but the newer MkII guns also sound pretty great with good headphones. Unless you have a fancy TV or sound system, studio style headphones are the way to go if you are looking to better experience some of the better sounding aspects of the game. I notice owls, coyote and bugs buzzing, pretty much the entire game is way more "immersive" with a pair if good headphones on.

 

10/10 muscle car, yay! Anyone else notice that, like the Hermes, the Hustler handles way better with the standard suspension? Not only does it spin out and flip less, but also seems to handle curbs and bumps a million times better... it's only a few cars I notice this with and there are cars like the non custom Faction where it doesn't matter what suspension you use. I humbly believe that the stupid airbag suspension is the reason why both the Hermes and Yosemite flip and spin out CONSTANTLY with anything other than standard suspension. Thank heavens the Hustler doesn't have that dumb stock airbag lift... it really is exactly what I was hoping for, hopefully a step in the right direction and a hint of muscle to come, and also close enough to the 5 window from SA. Had to boot up old SA just to drag the LV strip a few times in the original Hustler.
