I have never glitched before, but I swear if I see a glitch to get Benny's rims on this bad boy, I am doing it.

I would be considerably content if just steel rims were added to lsc ! Would even pay an unnecessary premium for them. ! Oh and the smaller white walls

My only disappointment is that its not customizable at bennies. I would like to add ormpnaments , a plaque custom plates, speaker systems and interiors. Maybe even a customizable roof , ragtop perhaps or topless option.

Indeed. many of the mods in Benny's cater specifically to hotrods/customs and not lowriders. Like many of the steering wheels, shifters, wheels, etc.

I noticed occationally the exhaust backfire makes a different sound, like, louder/high pitched?

I found myself trying to make it happen lol.

They aren't going to "fix" it, it isn't broken. They made it like that on purpose.

Last month I saw somebody in my neigbor hood driving a real life Hermes, I guess that would be a Mercury?

 

It was in mint condition light purple, peanut butter leather interior..god it was one of the cleanest rides I ever seen in my life

The air suspension on this gorgeous car and the the Yosemite is just ridiculous. Even without lowering them they scrap the ground when leaving your garage or an LSC or even just reversing. Fail.

That's an evidence of my long lasting opinion that R* doesn't, neither never really knew, what to do with Benny's shop. Back in the day we saw weird vehicle picks to be turned into lowriders (such as the Sabre) while leaving ohters aside that would make a lot more sense (such as the Manana), and lazy GTA IV car ports. Then they've added the tuning/"ricer" concept with the Banshee and Sultan combo. Next up, Benny turns into a mechanical magician, turning an Elegy into a previous gen version of that car, even though its wheelbase, sizing etc. has no similarities. Following that, some new cars that would make sense to be Benny's vehicles (like the Drift Tampa) are non-customizable instead. From the original lowrider/hotrod/tuning concept, Benny became a supercar mechanic with the Cunning Stunts DLC.

 

Now, over an year later, we see new hotrods being added but with no Benny's tuning options, instead the rather limited LSC customizations. I sense some lack of coherency here, to say the least... Either Benny's shop is some kind of controversial subject among the devs or they simply don't know what to do with the concept by now. I'm sure it's not due to a lack of success, considering it was a huge money sinkhole every time a new car was available to modify there, we'd see sessions filled with those cars all the time back then.

I was pleasantly surprised by getting a free Hermès on BOTH characters. Absolutely love this car. Cruising by the Vagos territory, making NPC gangstas jealous lol.

 

Id have loved if driving by the gang territories with the Hermès caused the npcs to agro or trigger a car jacking action.

This car for some reason wasn't free for me during Christmas, did anybody else here had the same problem? I know it was being given for free during Christmas, one of my friends even got it for free, which made me confused. Was it only free for some players?

Benny’s was nothing more than an intended money sink and a dev brainfart at the same time. Now people are used to more exhorbitant prices, Benny’s is not special no more.

 

Well, back in the Lowriders' heyday, I started a thread about the subject and, while the opinions were mixed, not only the poll I created back then demonstrates the majority of people thought otherwise but also some users actively defended Benny's concept against my arguments and my views even received a lot of criticism.

I didn't get it free either but I may have missed the cutoff as I didn't hop on until 10ish central time last night. It wasn't even listed as free, it was over 500k.

My friend started playing the game still in the morning, while I only remembered to check it when I visited him in the afternoon, since he was already playing and had my profile on his PS4 too. But while the car was still free for him, it was costing 550k for me!

It'd be awesome to see actual Hotrod/drag versions of the Muscle cars like the Sabre. I've been very tempted to Bennyify my Sabre just for some nice rims and redline tires. make the wheelie bar actually useful on cars that have the option for them...

It's a land yacht, they were never designed to stop on a dime. It's not really "broken"

It's got more class than those generic lumps of metal and carbon fiber called "supercars"

Imo this is a 1.5 mil dollar car. 500k is a bargain.
