Specifications for PC to play GTA V

I have a PC "HP Pavilion dv7 (dv7 - 2220ep)" with the following specifications:

• Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 (2,53 Ghz)
• 17"
• 500 GB (7200RPM)
• 4096 MB DDR3 SDRAM (2 Dimm)
• HP MediaSmart
• Graphics Card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 with dedicated graphic memory DDR3 of 1024MB
• Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

My son told me he wants to buy GTA V. Can the game be played in this computer?

It's well below the minimum specifications, though judging from videos of gameplay on similar hardware if you chuck on some mods to send it below the lowest settings it can probably be played, although it's not going to be the best performance in the world.

Finally bought the game, but it`s used.

 

It´s installed in the PC, but after registering in Rockstar it says the activation code has already been used and so my son can`t play the game.

What can i do?

 

I thought a used game would work as well as a new one.

I'm sorry to tell you this, You got scammed either that or the store you purchased it from are morons and don't know that they are basically selling a secondhand game that can't be played make sure you let them know this when you return it, Take it back to wherever you bought it activation codes are a one time deal once used they can't be used again.

 

You can buy a code from an Online store such as g2a.com or greenmangaming for $20-$25

No it can't, the game needs to be activated as a form of anti-piracy. Sorry bud, but you were either scammed or the seller was ignorant.
