Nope unless you count explosive sniper/shotgun as an explosion (It takes 2 or 3 depending on where you shoot the car)

Sometimes it's a bit hit and miss though, a couple of times I've heard the homing launcher beep as a missile is launched and been too slow to react, so the rocket clips the car (i.e doesn't hit dead centre, but hits an extremity) and there is a definite explosion, but the car is not destroyed. It can't be explosive sniper or shotgun fire as I have literally watched the rocket fly towards and hit me.

Usually though, you can't survive a homing launcher hit with the Deluxo.

You shouldn't be getting hit by homing launchers in the Deluxo in the first place though, it's more than capable of evading them

I said on occasions where "I'm too slow to react". Or if you just get too close to the launcher. But yes, usually it's pretty easy to avoid them.

Deluxo is slow?

 

Man that thing is the fastest aircraft we've ever had. Nothing can kill you except orbital cannons and explosive hvy sniper ammo.

Most people are lazy and fly more than needed when traveling. This thing is more effective and fun when mixing both driving and flying.

If you purchase the weapons upgrade, are you able to cycle to and fire your one-handed weapons? I think the Nightshark is the only vehicle I know of that offers this option. I dont want to sacrifice that ability just for some homing missiles Doc Brown didnt invent.

Nah..I don't think so. Don't use it very much anymore to give a straight answer though.

Imagine taking it to benny's for sh*ts and giggles and this thing pops out.

Throw in chrome paint, multicoloured neons and dollar rims and you'd get every kid playing the game new favourite ride! Even Will.I.Am would be - ugh - impressed.

No you are not. I know the Comet Safari also has this ability though, maybe the other new cars too, I dunno

LOal, you said "quick getting around" with a straight face and everything.

I don't understand people complaining that the Deluxo is slow. In air? It's certainly not a Lazer or a Buzzard, but on the ground? It keeps up with the pack. Plus, when you can just, y'know, fly over mountains rather than drive around them, the point-to-point time is more meaningful than speed.

 

Then again, I seem to be one of few people here who likes the ground-based handling. Mmm, heavy 80s cars...

 

I also very much enjoy driving this dude around. Literally rollin in the corners. Not as much as the Hermes but still funny.

 

Too bad it have became the to-go griefing machine. I havent even fitted weapons on mine but it seems that no one cares. Deluxos sure get a lot of "spontaneous" hate.

Make sure to upgrade it to max and you'll enjoy driving it too. It's a great drive, really. I only fly when I have to and use it as a tool for contact missions. Other than that, it's for cruisin' .

The wallbreach seems to be somewhat patched.

 

 

There's one in the FIB building. All you have to do is clip into the ceiling. However I'm not sure if it's going to fit as I'm currently grinding for one right now.

Are you able to hide the missiles from the front bumper if you install them? I wanted to get them but I think it would ruin the look of the car.

Nope, however theyre not that visible in my opinion. Just imagine that theyre some sort of lil air intakes that fire bullets and missiles

Good thing about not having missiles on it is that this car can actually work as a bomber. I'm dead serious.

That’s a nice thought and all, but why spend 4.7mln to just use it as a DeLorean? It already has machine guns out of the box, which a DeLorean doesn’t.

Took mine to the MOC as soon as I got it, so actually I might indeed be ailing about it having guns out of the box, but the addition of weaponry doesn't ruin the model or the use of it at all, imo.

I'm only flying it and shoot missiles in solo contact missions. Other than that, the car is on the tarmac and putting some rubber on it too. Love the way it handles. It's still a DeLorean to me, with or without the weapons. I never see the front of the car much anyway and when I do I don't really notice the missiles sticking out.
