RyuNova
I think the Avenger and MOC Cabs are two of a the few vehicles that r* got right for the right price. The MOC Cabs can outclass anything upto Sports, are practically invincible and can carry five people. They outclass the Supercars in versatility for the same price. The Avenger is the same, outclasses many of the vehicles in the same price. Garland137
I had money to burn so I bought a fully-outfitted Avenger. This thing is soooo much fun, even for a solo player like me. It's pretty useful for most of the gunrunning supply missions. I can use the turrets to wipe out entire squads of NPCs, when I'm back in the pilot's seat I can drop bombs to clean up any stragglers, and when flying I can just ram enemy helicopters. I can top up my MkII ammo before leaving, and it's great fun to drop in from a Deluxo I drove out the back while hovering. Plus I have a mobile LSC for the weaponised cars. I've also noticed that when I'm in the hold, NPCs act like I'm not there. It makes using the turrets to clear an area really easy, because the goons don't shoot back. They just stand there oblivious as I blast them. It's kinda funny. Cutter De Blanc, R3CON and ballen205
LordLoff
2 questions - help please Is it my impression or if you are taken down on the Avenger, while you were on the cargo hold, it will wreck on the floor but as long as you do not exit, you are fully protected from anything for as long as you want ??? Is there a way to know exactly our hoovering altitude at any moment and what altitude keep us away enough from homms and RPGs ??? Piro
^Well after you crash you can still use guns from the ground. But after Avenger blows up you spawn outside.

SHOKKERZ91
How did you get up there? Deluxo? It´s the avenger of a friend. Sometimes, i jump out of my buzzard and land on the back of it. This time, i got on it while on the ground. My friend slowly gained altitude and then we where set. Cudwieser, Happy Hunter and R3CON
Scruffyauto9
So.. quick question. I have both an avenger, and an MOC. The MOC currently has the combination weapon/vehicle workshop. Is there any upside to renovating it to have a weapon workshop and vehicle storage bay? My apologies if this has been covered, I used the search function and didn't see anything. That is what I did and is the best you can do so you have more diverse gameplay The Avenger can not storage permanent but can have the vehicle workshop that will be missing ob the MOC when you change back the bays Do not hesitate, is the best combination, you loose nothing and have more options and can call the MOC to anywhere on the map with the vehicle of your choice, without the need to go there drive and enter first, like the Avenger Edited January 29, 2018 by LordLoff Cutter De Blanc

Well thats exactly what im planing to do when I get my Avenger. The MOC vehicle storage will give me an additional garage slot to store my stratum in there while the avenger takes over the vehicle customisation. Most of my weaponized vehicles are parked in the facility anyway so I can drive them into the avenger directly. If your having garagespace problems like I do, I'd say go for it. The vehicle storage bay will give you one more garagespace. If I remember correctly, you can also call the vehicle thats inside the moc vehicle storage during heists, so thats another benefit. Chang
Flown str8 threw a buzzard attackings my flank, turned into'em and absolutely ate them. The buzzard explosion was like a belch of fire and scorched metal and screaming bones. Then again while in the Hunter, & an Avenger pilot flew into my center and became decimated. Walking in hold then pit buffs the Avenger as it should be, maybe. I Chang StangOne50
Stupidis
Anyone know if it would be possible to land on an Avenger in VTOL mode and shoot the pilot while he's in the cockpit? Scruffyauto9
The mechanic in the back of my avenger must like that new radio station, Blonded FM. Every time I go into my avenger, thats whats playing, even though it shows up as LSRR in the interaction menu. Happy Hunter
Did anyone ever find a way to stop this annoying glitch? The cannon's shots go through the ground (without exploding) - so you basically get no blast radius on them at all. The same thing happens with bombs a lot too, at high altitudes. Does anyone know if this is just inevitable; some limitation of the game and something that can't be fixed? Or could they make it so the ground stays solid and doesn't just let stuff pass through it? This vehicle is incredible when it's not happening, but that glitch/thing ruins it most of the time. Ruins bombing too, when you're in something that needs to be higher (like a Bombushka, Hunter or something). Gridl0k and Nyamber
Piro
^ I think the blast radius is just rly small so it's not to OP. Usually I just wait for them to shot rockets at me so I know exactly where they are.But I never tried shooting from high altitudes. As for the theory about blasts going through the ground - I think thats console limitations. It's the same story with sniping trough buildings. The game loads collision models only near you save memory. Thats why for some people Boxville will glitch through the ground if you left it inside a tunel or something like that.edit:yeah you might be right. Notice that shots go through the roofs but they explode on streets. Thats because the game has load priorities. First it loads roads and then buildings. The best thing you can do is go lower. Happy Hunter
^ I think the blast radius is just rly small so it's not to OP. Oh no the blast is okay when it's working properly. When it is I can hit people pretty well. There's definitely something where the shots go through the ground, so there's no radius. You can see it better with bombs - try drop some bombs from moderately high (1000ft or so), get some editor footage and you can take a closer look at what happens to them. They literally just sink through the ground without exploding. I really hope it's something they can fix. It really takes away from this vehicle (which is otherwise a masterpiece). So yeah, this is the same bug the thermal vision and distance suffer from. I've found the trick is to aim for objects that are destructible like cars and street light poles. Those objects register the hit and will yield an explosion. Otherwise, you have to direct impact the player that you can't see. I don't see this ever being rectified. Otherwise, you have to direct impact the player that you can't see. I don't see this ever being rectified. The really weird thing is the randomness of it. Generally it happens above 1000ft, but from there it doesn't make much of a difference. Like, sometimes nothing will register at 1000ft, but other times I can be higher (2000ft/3000ft) and have it work properly. Very strange. Also in that video I posted, notice how after I manage to hit him once (had to be a direct hit), it's like it suddenly knew there was ground there then, and my shots afterwards actually hit the ground and had a blast radius. Kind of weird. You're probably right though that it'll never get fixed. Which is a shame lol. You don't want to be lower than 1000ft with this because of homing launchers - especially not if you're solo. But it means you're taking a big risk on whether the shots will actually do anything. Some planes you kind of want to be high up too. Like, if you swooped in with a Bombushka like you would with a Starling, you'd be shot down in no time. But then you've got this glitch/problem to deal with.
