I want the tank to be terrifying.

 

Ground vehicle guys deserve a truly powerful vehicle. Tanks waited even longer than helis. Much longer actually! There hasn't been a proper tank since the game started - and they took the balls off that one.

Just from the looks of it in that trailer it's ready to f*ck anything in its way

The old days of the Tank were awesome, really strong but with the snipable driver Achilles heal.

Makes me wonder if there's more scripted, co-op content in the pipeline.

 

I really think it depends on how successful (or not) this is, by whatever measures they're using.

 

Gunrunning and Smuggler's Run made a lot of shark card sales but they also caused a lot of complaints and I think their player retention numbers suck (just from what I saw of my friends).

 

So if a new heist actually keeps people playing while also selling expensive vehicles, then I think we'll probably get more of this. If it fails at that, back to businesses or maybe nothing.

Four f*cking years but still we have a new one now. That's all Happy Hunter kept on rambling about for so long, we got both the Hunter AND a new tank AND the Comanche within a six month period lol.

That new tank looks sick!! Now hopefully it can pounding and its armor is not only for aesthetic like the weaponized Tampa
It looks so sleek and modern 😍

 

We were definitely due for a new tank for the longest lol

I'm going to laugh if 3 snowballs ends it

I only concern where is the heist room, inside IAA building?

And do we have a new garage to store the tank and police truck?

I'm hoping that if there is a Dripfeed, I at least Hope it will only last for 2 Months. The way the next possible update release hopefully will be in February, because of Valentine's Day.

Meh....just be the last gtao update so gtao can soon stop getting upgraded bad anti-cheat.. or give me my legit ingame 28 mil back that was stolen from me by that sh*tty anti-cheat system.

It's simple... If I can't use it alone, I won't buy it... No need for a landvehicule on which I can't fire all guns AND drive it... No more half-track scenarios for me...

One of my mis-purchases of all time... But we tend to learn from bad experiences from the past... Most of the time :-)...

With it being R*, that won't happen, just ask someone ingame to give you 2 billion, that's what I did twice ;), just waiting on this DLC to drop so I can buy (everything).

I've been in your position defending rockstar but I've never liked that it's "free" dlc nonsense...you pay one way or another and time is money.

Is GTA Online your real job? Or is it a leisure activity like it is for the rest of us?

 

"Time is money" doesn't really apply to leisure pursuits unfortunately, unless you are bunking off work or something to play GTA.

I doubt it lol we'll probably have to use it (Maybe after stealing it) in a setup mission first before unlocking it. Imagine if they make this a drip feed vehicle lol I'm gonna fkn rage.

 

I'm sure they'll drip feed some of them.. They'll have to keep us interested for the next 3 months :p

 

I've got a feeling (or more or a hope) that there wont be any dripfeed, but you cant buy any of the vehicles unless you host the heist, not just if you join it, and I'm sure the heist will be incredibly hard. (Or I'm horribly wrong and they do that AND dripfeed which would really suck)

Leak... the heists themselves will be dripfed one heist every 2-3 weeks.

 

I know this because my father's brothers nefews cousins former room mate is the janitor at the mcdonals the r* janitor takes his breaks at

Whilst I love gaming it's something I need to set aside time for given I live with my wife who is expecting our first child it's very hard to find the time to play...I've built my characters over the last 5 years and now tbh I'm

Playing to add to what I've already accomplished...owning every prior to gunrunning and having unlocked everything on all 4 characters.

What I enjoy in this game most of all is collecting...that's where my enjoyment comes from and customising my cars and arranging them etc etc...I used to enjoy racing very much but now I never race as they destroyed it for me when they added stunt races and now every race by rockstar is like those stupid races kids used to make that I avoided like the plague with big jumps etc (I won about 3000 races and lost around 1600 I believe)

Whilst I can enjoy some of the pve content and VIP work etc ultimately I learn what's best to grind for money which means doing the same sh*t day in day out (in my case import export, plowed, import export, fortified (afk), sell modded sentinel and repeat...this morning I was up before my wife as I have work and scraped together about 300k in maybe 2 hours using that but now I'm in transit...progress like that will get me nowhere...a full day for me I can earn around 1.5m but it's very rare I have that tbh.

I do not enjoy this grinding...I mean it's not torture sure but it's not fun it's efficient grinding when I can do I can have fun with what I earn later down the line...if I don't treat it like a job and just fanny around I'll make no money and therefore no chance of doing what I really enjoy.

I can appreciate some other game modes but doing them efficiently often requires other players and given my schedule finding someone right then and there is impossible and tbh I can't wait for them as I have so little time.

I earned 2m the other day doing mc contract missions with some random French dude for example but the best paying missions need 2 people at least (guns for hire pays 69-70k)

 

In short when earning money I'm being professional and not having fun...having fun CAN earn you good money sure but it's a bonus given the need to earn copious amounts to keep up...I have 2m right now which is pathetic but the best I can do and nowhere near enough.

 

I go to work to earn money and I get tips, upsell bonuses and other kpis I need to reach to get further bonuses and that means I can buy nice food and other things I like for myself and my wife...earning money in GTA is the same I earn it via efficient methods (such as grabbing a sentinel from the eclipse tower spawn every 48 mins ensuring during fortified I can go there between 2200 and 3am and snag one to maximise my earnings by another 15-17k)

And then I can spend money on things I like.

I'm surprised if from this description you can't see the parallel...

Many people have lives outside this game. Also others want to enjoy other games too.

 

Almost every week that has a 2x$ on what I'm willing to grind work has called me and ensured that I get as little playtime as possible, because Murphy's law. (Granted 4 hours overtime pays for an 8 mill shartcard which takes 4x or longer to earn)

I've resorted to having the Xbox my gf uses when over at my place and two hair ties to afk capture grind while we're tending to real lives because on week days we only get an hour or so of playtime after real life ends for the day.

 

By the time I had my hangar how I wanted I sat there and had a real life equivalent to the end of the south park episode where they killed that which has no life.

Ironically nearly all tanks require a crew, or at least a driver and a gunner. So it would be logical, if infuriating.

The requirement of 2 players may be totally worth it, remember the APC? That thing is DANGEROUS with multiple players!. I was hoping for an old tank as well as a newer tank, but this stealth Polish tank is cool enough to make up for no vintage tank.

Until you encounter a Hydra pilot who can fly directly above you and hides behind buildings in-between strafes.

I wonder If we will be able to use/Equip Sirens & Lights on other Vehicles? I Noticed that New 6 wheeled Stockade? has Lights in the Grill .. or Maybe that's just the Lights coming from the Police Cars.

 

Also Maybe We'll finally be able to Purchase Police Vehicles soon?
