This update? It's been a sh*tshow for a while only getting worse with each update.

 

Every update releases more greifer fuel (ruiner 2000, oppressor, APC, Hunter, etc). You can't get a moment's relief in the game these days and when you do start to come out on top, some self righteous tw*twaffle false reports you for trying to sell them your account for $20 (you really think id sell 6 years of dedication and hard work for $20? Go F*CK yourself kid) on whatever game network you're on the get your account suspended.

 

I litteraly HATE this game and all of the worst aspects of humanity it represents.

 

That being said, the next update looks awesome and I am SO PSYCHED!!

Yes, it has definitely become more and more of a sh*tshow since gunrunning but in my experience when I started playing again Monday last week after about a five month break, I can still play free roam without getting blown up all the time. I quite often can sell product in public sessions without my sales getting destroyed, but sometimes they do of course. It depends on luck and if there are griefers present in the session. Some of my sales are successfully completed, others gets destroyed. When I'm unlucky and that happens, I don't get upset like I used to do before taking my break because I already made a lot of money from my businesses and I don't really need anymore, so I don't have that much to get upset over. I just play for fun nowadays, money is not a concern. So in my experience, free roam is still quite playable as long as you're cautious and avoid chaotic areas.

 

However, a lot of oppressor riders are douchebags just flying around destroying people with their missiles. Hydra griefers are still a problem too even after all those new griefing tools that have been released since GR. Oppressor is a fun bike to ride and fly around with but those who use it are mostly assholes unfortunately.

 

I agree with what you wrote about the game representing the worst aspects of humanity. Anonymity brings out the absolute worst in people from what I've realized since I began playing GTAO. I saw all the time how as soon as people are hidden behind their screens, they bring out their inner demons and act completely immoral. We live in a cruel world. Watch your back and do not trust anybody.

Overpriced items mean shark card sales.. Shark card sales mean more profit for Rockstar. It's called business. Even with "normal" DLC things would still be overpriced.

 

No one is forcing you to play. Go in a Invite only lobby if you can't stand the heat in the kitchen :)

If this is the final DLC, I wouldnt be surprised if they ended it by saying that all the events in GTAO were part of a movie/ TV series and your character ends up actually being a vinewood actor.

If this is indeed a Heist(s), I wonder if Rockstar will include another Mastermind like challenge with it?

Or, even better, add it to the existing challenge. Like, if you haven't completed it already, you gotta complete the original challenge PLUS the Doomsday Heist to complete the challenge.

 

Has everyone done the mastermind challenge except me I would never be able to do that

 

You'd be surprised. It's actually a lot less daunting than it sounds. The most difficult part is coordinating people's schedules...

 

 

 

So tired of this over the top crap direction gta went. Flying people, flying cars, flying motorcycles...

 

We need a thief update, lets get back on the ground. I want to rob peoples houses and crack those safes inside the stores.

 

I want to roll up into someones yard with a van and break into their houses and steal their belongings while taking it to a pawn shop. And when an alarm goes when you do something wrong police cars should spawn for other players near police stations and they can try to arrest or kill you before you can sell your product to a pawn shop or a sketchy dealer by the docks.

Remember when COD took a futuristic turn, and it got boring and got hated on, so the devs went back to the original boots on the ground with WW2? Seems like the thing with GTA Online.

 

Good point, but they had to make a new game to do it. Can you imagine if we actually got Tuner DLC and had to do street races? In free roam? Can you say super high speed jet/Oppressor/Cyber Tank/APC/Hunter/Future Copter/satellite missile beam gun thing/Ruiner/Flying Deluxo super troll death orgy? Not saying it can't be done, but I'd be interested in seeing how they intended to do it.

That's when everyone complains about the low pay. Besides, why would players ever get to be police? At least with all the futuristic stuff we're still the bad guys.Actually we're saving the world (aka America) with this DLC.

ANY ACTUAL BEARDS? Like, ACTUAL beards. Ones that aren't pencil thin. That have a bit of depth.

 

I saw jetpacks, flying cars, all this happy stuff and I was thinking about trying to get the game again. I also saw anti air weaponry FINALLY. So, that was nice.

 

Any way to make your character look like some armored up Deathstroke?

 

I feel like I didn't miss much but it'd be nice to know that I did.

I doubt it lol we'll probably have to use it (Maybe after stealing it) in a setup mission first before unlocking it. Imagine if they make this a drip feed vehicle lol I'm gonna fkn rage.

It's almost like people forget that Rockstar is pushing a story for our characters and that going back to petty crime wouldn't make any sense. GTA was always crazy, this isn't new either. I bet the people complaining about this stuff started with GTA IV.

My pleasure... I don't really care if we have to do the heist or not.. I know a few people who will complain about it :) You know, the ones who complain that they are stuck playing with noobs...Thank god I have 3 people I count on when doing a heist

I want the tank to be terrifying.

 

Ground vehicle guys deserve a truly powerful vehicle. Tanks waited even longer than helis. Much longer actually! There hasn't been a proper tank since the game started - and they took the balls off that one.

Despite the chuckling of others I think we will. I believe there'll be a set price and a trade in price. The same as GR/SR and I/E vehicles.

 

Eg Akula might be 5m standard price and 4m after completing the heist/set up etc.

 

We'll know for sure Tuesday at least.
