There is an missing dff in GTA3.img, so game loads only lod of this dff. Or, there is mistake in ipl file :/ because if you (for example) delete line for man_BUILD03, then game will load lod_build03.dff, but that lod will never disappear, because there is no dff to replace that lod.

This is lod_hotel03.dff. I found that building in KeD Editor, after opening nbeachw.ipl. So, you should look at nbeachw.ide, nbeachw.ipl and nbhotel03.dff...

I deleted nbeachw.ide and ipl from modloader which still didn't fix it, and the other files don't even exist in the mod. If anyone has a fix for this, let me know.

 

Eeeeh, I've f*cked around with this for too long and I still can't get the damn building to load in right. I'm resorting to using just VCLF for now, would really like to see this get a VCLF compatible update/a bugfix for this ridiculous thing.

I know, that in VCLF/modloader/gta3.img we can find nbhotel03.dff. Just try to add this file into your gta3.img.

And... Befor you install this mod, that building was fine?

EDIT2: I can send you my nbeachw.ipl and nbeachw.ide if adding this file into gta3.img didn't worked.

Yeah, nbhotel03.dff dont exist in models/gta3.img folder...

That file is already in my gta3.img, unlike you I never touch the img files and do everything through modloader. You can try sending me those files but I doubt it will do anything.

Ah that was my mistake. That file, is nbt_hotel03.dff, not nbhotel03.dff... And that file is in nbeachbt.ide and nbeachbt.ipl...

I'm doing backup of every file that I replace in gta3.img. Because modloader DON'T WORKS FOR ME.

Same thing, NOTHING is replacing that file. I tried deleting the entire data folder from this mod and it still didn't fix it meaning something in the models folder is f*cking up

Okay, I hate to doublepost but after actually using my brain I was able to figure it out. It was because the mod author simply forgot to put the building collision file back in the .col. Oops. 

 

Anyways, here is fix.

Good job, but can you provide more "before/after" pics plz (as more as possible😊)? There are a few packs like this (VCLF, etc).

I think, everyone need to know the differences between them to have opportunity to merge them together. Thanks.

He fixed most important things. So, there's no need to show more screenshots. Just paste this mod into modloader and see if you like it. Remember, it's not comptabile with Vice City Leftovers Fix (I found some bugs).

He is not the only who made "fixes-pack" like this. So, the idea to merge all of them together into one ultimate pack (including VCLF).

VCLF is fixing beta leftovers. For example rotating fans in the Ocean View Hotel. "Map Fixes"... "Leftovers Fix"... There would be some errors, bugs, etc. I found some bugs with IPL and IDE files, coz VCLF and MP are replacing the same files in data/maps folder. For me, VCLF is adding some objects, and MP is fixing the existing ones. But, the idea to merge these mods is not too bad at all.

This mod is really good but for some reason it spawns sea rocks at random places in the city, and causes some texture problems on some places, like OceanView front doors.

@Rocky24pl  Thank you so much for this wonderful mod. I'm writing here to report another glitched area that might have been overlooked by you. It's a fence next to a pink skyscraper with a pool and 3 collectables (near Rosenberg's office, right where the game starts):

The lower part of the building doesn't render through the mesh fence, it's completely invisible. It's the same bug that previously occurred at the airport and basically any other area these fences were placed in by Rockstar designers. Could you look into it and update this mod, please?

You can use it with LF mod but it will cause hilarious issues like sea Rocks spawning on the roads or texture glitches, maybe even broken models. This mod contains a lot of fixes which LF mod doesn't have. Problem is that some files wiill overwrite existing ones in LF mod and cause a lot of problems. Maybe you could make it work by hand picking each file (fix) and put it into LF Mod and then try it in the game but it would take days to test each file in the game. Unless creator of this mod tells which files are causing issues or releases version of fixes which LF mod doesn't have (so it's safe to put it into LF mod and play without issues) I don't know how to make both mods work without issues.

I found two bugs with this mod.

 

When entering the Ocean View hotel for the first time, if you begin the "An old friend" mission, try to get out from the hotel and enter again. The entrance has some collisions problems, the textures looks wrong.

 

The other one is near to the lighthouse on the beach. If you walk near to the lighthouse and look down to the grass, you can see the floor turning into a water texture.

I fixed the error on the Ocean View Hotel, its because there is a wrong parameter used on the IPL at day time, change this line on oceandrv.ipl:

 

3103, od_clevelander_dy, 13, 216.6577148, -1275.393677, 16.6947403, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0.1088668779, 0.994056344
 to

Please report any problem, I will try my best to fix it since I am using this mod and checking for bugs right now
 

The second bug you reported I cant reproduce it, can you post a picture?

Oh thanks, do you know if I can make numbers smaller? Do I need special program to do so? Those icons look like the ones from anniversary edition, I mean from android.

You can change most of the HUD settings through ThirteenAG's WidescreenFix. I don't know if you can change the numbers specifically, though.
