You made a big wall of text which nobody will ever understand, and you're totally wrong - using global variables in CLEO is asking for trouble. You REALLY have to know what you're doing to use them - and you clearly don't know what you're doing.

in different ways that they would not get into scm

Compiled and decompiled this junk, and very second line says:

You're kind of lucky, since all you break by this in original game is

in Taxi missions - so this text box won't ever show up once this "mod" is loaded. I said you're lucky, since it could have been any other, more important global variable and you could have done anything to the save, including blocking off storyline progression.

 

 

The other variables seem to map around $6050 area, which seems to be used by shooting range - so it's not unlikely you completely broke this minigame.

 

Also, naming your script 'MAIN' is asking for trouble, since there is a script like this already in the game...

 

 

To sum it up, this script is junk - breaking things in vanilla game and full of useless code.
