Any way to get Matte-finish color for rims?

It has always mildly infuriated me how the spare tyre on my Merryweather Mesa has a matte-colored rim (which is what I want) yet my actual rims have a glossy black on them. I dont want to make the spare tyre along with the cage glossy though. Gloss doesnt fit a proper offroad vehicle.

Nope, there was only one method that was during the very early days of Online and only worked with cars with stock chrome rims. You had to purchase a custom rim, paint it any color then purchase stock rims on iFruit. Although the only color it could be was black, it did however have a matte paint. Very few cars now have non-gloss stock rims which can be painted through iFruit such as both Nero and Nero Custom for example.

Edit: did you purchase the Merryweather Mesa? The Call Mercs option from Merryweather will guarantee stock matte rims of the same color as the cars primary paint.

Does a Matte Black (not anthacrite black) MW Mesa from mercs exist though? And yes I did buy the Mesa and did the iFruit glitch to color stock rims black (stock wheels were larger than custom offroad tyres), and I decided to buy instead of steal because I keep getting the open-roof variants from the mercs, while I preferred the closed roof.

Yes the black one will occasionally spawn alongside the desert tan and forest green one with a hardtop. Hard tops are a little harder to find, but they definately spawn.

So I got a friend to call mercs on me, acquired a matte black one, however the rims came in gloss black, whereas the tan and olive ones did come with a matte paint match.

:O surely they haven't changed it. Then again they could have done when they made the MW Mesa purchasable. Another option could be to check a contact mission in which MW Mesas spawn as chase vehicles and perhaps use the current save chase vehicles glitch so store it. Although I only recall them being desert tan and matte grey.

Well, will matte wheels increase shark card sales in any way?

Yeah just put a ripoff pricetag similar to chrome rims

It costs more than double the money to put chrome on your wheels than to put chrome on your entire car.

The dubsta 2 has matte black stock wheels and a debadged grille. Emblem is also blacked out on the spare wheel cover.

The rim of the stock wheel takes whatever pearl you apply on the paint.

I know, I was just looking for a way to turn alloy/chrome into matte, but I guess its impossible except for certain vehicles (I have a Dubsta2 with stock matte rims too)
