since i found out about the sale of the most expensive yacht at 75% off i've tried save enought gta $$$ to buy it, is it worth it?

If you like yachts. Sure. No one really uses them, it's basically like a house on water with no garage. You can change the location, that's it.

 

The difference between the three types of yachts is minimal. Doesn't really matter unless you like helicopters and hot tubs.

As with most things in this game the answer largely depends on you. If you spend a lot of time in your hideouts then, maybe.

 

I bought the second most expensive Yacht a few months after they were introduced. I very rarely use it for anything since I spend most of my time launching jobs from my CEO office. So for me... no. It wasn't worth it. It's more something you get just to check it off the list of "sh*t to own".

If you want it just to say you have it then yeah I guess. I've always wanted to own a yacht just for the sake of owning one. It's like a neat status symbol for me.

It's totally not worth it. Its a stationary object you can't do much from except run Piracy Prevention (which is only so fun/profitable to begin with).

 

You should save your money or spend it on something that isn't locked to the ocean. The only way a yacht makes sense is if money is no object to you.

It depends.

You can spawn basically everywhere around the map as long as you choose the yacht as your spawn point.

You get free jet skis, boats and a helicopter.

You can get a safe spot from all attacks out of apartments.

You can start Piracy Prevention which can be lots of fun (but also frustrating) if you like PvP.

You don't really lose anything expect for the money you pay for and extra daily cost. (1000$ I think)

 

I would however choose the Pisces because it is argubly the better choice since you get better vehicles imho. The yacht design also is better because you don't need to go to the second floor to go to the bow and you can easily jump on the roof of it due to the small fabric overhangs you can climb.

The Pisces is definitely more comfortable to move around in my opinion.

Best yacht is the pisces. Comes with the best layout and faster vehicles, though it isn't on sale.

 

Being a yacht owner, I wouldn't buy one for 2 mil. You'll do absolutely nothing with it, and piracy prevention alone isn't worth it.

Exactly. It should be mentioned that you need to start a job from the Yacht and exit immediately.

 

Enter the Yacht

Show jobs in the interaction menu

Pick the job on the map, launch the lobby

exit the job

Hide jobs again

 

If you spawn at the Yacht - you can teleport right to your office entrance, to your MC factory or to your bunker in the matter of seconds. No need to fly the helicopter. Therefore, it saves you time in the end. Otherwise, you'll be flying/driving minutes to your business destination - these minutes adds up.

 

Piracy Prevention is a good passive income. Just make sure to place a proximity mine in the capture area.

And switch the Yacht Access to "No one" - 2 times, will prevent the bug related to enemies spawning at the Yacht.

 

By the way, you can grab mines (and other ammo) for free at the Yacht itself.

 

Also, some people want to wait and camp you after Piracy Prevention. They think you are trapped in your Yacht. Well, prove them wrong - you can troll them this way:

1) First, let them spend their ammo on you while having your defences ON (basically, you are in a godmode)

2) Enter the yacht

3) Off the radar / Ghost

4) Teleport to a pegasus spot or an airfield using the method described above

5) Take your favorite tool, Hydra/Savage/Hunter

6) "WTF? How?"

Also, if you are good with a Cargobob, you can make a car show on the Yacht.

No Jet, Oppressor or even sniper could ruin the fun, since the meetup will be protected by the AA defence.

I used to have a Yacht back on XB1 and missed the transfer. Getting it back was not worth the money, IMO. Even for $2 mil I was kind of torn, but then I sold my Visione, which I hated and got the Yacht. So my advise is: check your garage for supers you hate!

Coming from someone who just bought a yacht for the first time, its definitely worth it. Nobody can deny the aesthetic value of the Yacht on top of the new chopper/boats/free ammo. I agree that at normal price it is not worth it but at $2 million absolutely and it feels all new to me even though they've been out so long. I'd say grind and get it while you still got some time.

When I started w GTAO, I never ask if it was worth it. It dosen't really matter what anyone else thinks, it only matters what YOU think.

Not in a selfish unhealthy way of course. Just buy whatever you want. If you later think it was a mistake, then learn from it. That's how you gain experience.

I'm lvl 700+, I got yacht, vigilante & so on. and YES, it is worth it!

I had never looked at a Yacht before because the price was just way too much. But $2 Mil on sale? Damn, that's nothing! I get that back with VIP and I/E in an afternoon.

 

I use my Yacht quite a lot! I have my spawn point set to it. That way I always start on the Yacht when joining GTA Online. I've got it docked at Terminal so I can fly to my Vehicle Warehouse in under 15 seconds after spawning in to sell a top range car.

 

No one cares about Piracy Prevention anymore so that VIP Mission is an easy $30k while you AFK to do something else (the 60 minute cooldown does suck!).

 

With PP being such an easy $30k and a break from looking at the screen, I see myself going back to the Yacht every hour.

 

For $2 Mil the Yacht is worth every dollar!

$2mil is a steal of deal if you've got spare cash but I certainly wouldn't recommend spending down past your last dime to get one.

I was going to buy one, but remembered that there's always other players' yachts I can hang around on if I just want to chill. Even if the deal is one hell of a bargain, remember that we'll be getting a new DLC soon and that 2M$ leaves a giant hole in your wallet and you'll break your piggybank and look for pennies to buy whatever new car you'll like.
