Weaponized vehicle question

This "should" be a pretty quick and easy question.

 

What is the best weaponized land vehicle that has driver controlled weapons?

 

I don't think there are too many so this should be a pretty short list.

to be exact

its the most versatile armed land vehicle,

it can be fitted with dual 360* minigun on roof , regular rockets on front , rear-firing mortar and a proximity mine

This is going to be a depressingly small list. The APC would've been a perfect game-changer for lone wolves, but they decided you'll need a second person just to move the cannon (a bad move in my opinion - old IV/TBOGT one didn't need that, and why lock off something as simple as moving the camera? One guy could easily do that and still drive).

 

Ruiner 2000 and Vigilante have the best missiles in the game. Outside of Fully Loaded though, the Ruiner is very easy pickings (only has 8 missiles; dies to one explosion). Even then, you can be auto aimed out, and a good pilot can give you trouble.

 

While it's not weaponized (solo anyway) the MOC has incredible armour.

 

There's not really many vehicles I could recommend to be honest. I think we need a new and improved tank, that solo players can get everything out of.

Probably insurgent because it can take a lot of explosives, it's good at chasing, and you can throw sticky bombs out if it because the geniuses at rockstar thought it would be a good idea for an op vehicle to be able to throw no skill sticky bombs

Wait wut? Since when is the insurgent op? Shooting out the driver is piss easy, especalliy with auto-aim. There should be more explosive-resistant vehicles to compensate the rocketlauncher spammers. There is op-sh*t in the game, but the insurgent is not one of them.

 

Btt: Weaponized Tampa for pve and Ruiner2k for unlocking the "fully loaded" vip-mission. The fully-loaded-ruiner is the ultimate counter for harry potter broomstick riders.

Insurgent is not op for just 1 person driving it.. it's a turtle, that's all it is, good for defense more than offense.. but the armed variant specially with the upgraded minigun and a passenger.. now that thing does make some damage, especially if the one sitting in the turret is ducking (nice one cockstar), but then again it's a 2 man vehicle so it's not for this thread..

 

Best 1 person land vehicle would be the vigilante, 32 rockets (that follow you everywhere), ability to obliterate rocket bikes like flies (with those rockets), has turbo, good pushing power against other vehicles, has good bullet protection/resistance, it's sthealty! (doesn't show on radar that you are on the vigilante), best solo vehicle overall.

 

Then 2nd place would be for the armored tampa but it requires you to use keyb + mouse to effectively use the miniguns and that rests you drivability, plus it's a classic car so it handles poorly too.. besides heat seeking missiles (of the vigilante) are waay more useful against other vehicles.

 

Bad thing for both is explosive resistance which is 0, and can withstand 1 sniper shot only, blowing up in the next.

The Insurgent with strategically placed proximity mines is an option worth considering. And if you pick up any random player the odds are they are going straight to the turret and spewing destruction until you boot them or they die.

There is no great land vehicle for the solo player. The Vigilante and weaponised Tampa ares probably the best but they have no explosive resistance at all.

 

R* logic has made 2 man griefing teams in APCs almost invincible for the solo player.

I guess it walks the line between land and air vehicle but my vote would go to Oppressor with rocket upgrade. Powerful, versatile and ability to benefit from Favorite Bike health regen is a nice bonus.
