How exactly San Andreas is underrated if it's considered one of the best PS2 titles? Even the people who aren't fond of various aspects of SA, still appreciate scale R* was able to include on highly underpowered (especially in 2004) PS2 console.

I was just joking.

Underrated: definitely GTA CTW. I mean, where’s the love it deserves? So beyond overlooked that it’s quite crazy, really.

Overrated: Online. IDK how it STILL has SO many players to this day.

Overrated: All of them deserve the praise they get, so yeah nothing to fill in. But, if we count GTA Online, then it definitely is the only one that can be considered overrated (talking from a personal view). No question.

Underrated: GTA Vice City Stories, GTA Chinatown Wars.

Overrated: GTA Vice City Stories

This game is praised as hell everywhere, but I found the road to 100% tiring af (rescue helicopter, anyone?), and the story too serious for 3D era, which also made some arcs dumb due to gameplay.

Like Louise being in what, 4 missions? with expectation for the player to care about her without the ability to date. It would hit much harder with SA girlfriend system, like something actually was taken from you.

Also Vic being very much against drugs and his brother shenenigans while becoming a drug kingpin in freeroam doing much more stupid stuff than his brother.

Underrated: GTA Liberty City Stories

People think of it just as a mission pack for III, but for me it was kinda a "remake" of III, as in it fixed everything that was "wrong" with it and modernized the game a lot without losing its soul. It's GTA III 2.0, not really GTA III 1.1.
