Goranito 5 Posted November 22, 2017 Are you happy with the Christmas and presents you will get? In the last few years, I got money and I have bought myself something but this year my parents are talking about buying something for the entire family. Some game table, trampoline, something like that. That was what my dad told me and I think it is a cool idea. What did you get for Christmas last year and from who? Tokasmoka 398 Posted November 22, 2017 Eh, the only thing I'll get for X-Mas will have to be bought by myself. In fact, I cannot remember the last gift I got for X-mas that was over $10. Ever since my mom passed away X-Mas is more about time off and not working than it is to be with family and friends. As for gifts for myself I was thinking a new cel phone, maybe a fitbit ionic(if they work in saunas), V-Drums, musical keyboard, or another acoustic guitar. Nothing out there in the gaming world that interests me currently.
Skeever 1,728 Posted November 22, 2017 What did you get for Christmas last year and from who? I don't really remember. My mother probably just got me candy and a movie with Chuck Norris or motherf*cking Nicolas Cage in it, as she doesn't have the faintest clue of what to get me anymore, but that's fine by me. Nowadays, I enjoy giving gifts on Christmas more than I do receiving them.

Star-Lord 1,272 Posted November 22, 2017 Was wondering when this subject would come to surface... Anywho, (Tim Horton hears a who - who likes Coffee.) This year I'm all about giving, I'm getting my daughter Sims4 and a gaming console. My mother-in law well the usual...a box of coal. My GF some lingerie and Pandora charms - at the end it's the gift that keeps on giving.
ciel 15,559 Posted November 22, 2017 (edited) xmas stopped being a big deal to me since 2007 but I still buy gifts for family. I got a lightsaber, marc jacobs perfume and a final fantasy game from my parents. this year I don't really care for anything, most games I want come out in 2018. I guess I would like a new wireless speaker with good bass but that's about it. my mother is here with us and it's another xmas I get to spend with her, that's all I care about. it'll be nice to see her stress free for once also. Femme Fatale 10,197 Posted November 22, 2017 I'm more excited about the nude Christmas and New Year's parties that we have at Colibri and Rubik's than presents tbh. But of course that doesn't mean I'll reject any gifts that people buy me. :]

No nudity while family open the presents! grandma wont stand another of your outbreaks. Edited November 23, 2017 by ShadowPerson

MIKON8ERISBACK 10 Posted November 23, 2017 I don't really care too much about presents anymore. I always get some clothes and last year I got a really nice jacket, some sweat pants, sweat shirts and a pair of boots from Lands End, but I'm for the most part not the kind of person to really ask for much if anything anymore, not even a little money. I just don't care too much for material goods anymore. My personality has changed and things have happened that have really steered me away from the consumer culture. Most Christmas music is a big problem for me too, but that's another subject.
Sanches 10,839 Posted November 23, 2017 The more older you get, the less Christams gets. Unless you're really life enjoying person. If so, then i envy you.
sreyazsec 6,227 Posted November 23, 2017 I stopped caring about Christmas for quite a long time but this year I've become excited by it again. Not really fussed about presents I'm receiving, I just like having the old Christmassy feeling back. Screw anything with glitter on it though. I made that mistake last Christmas, I wrapped every gift in white and silver glitter covered wrapping paper. Glitter + Christmas = F*ck off.
Inttelix 111 Posted November 23, 2017 Christmas stopped being about receiving presents for me quite a while now. Now, I'm the one giving mom and dad presents.

JON22 3,356 Posted December 2, 2017 f*ck Christmas. Just an excuse to get you to waste money and family members to try and force a guilt trip on you. That said I'll probably just be safe and get me mum some smellies and chocolate though. I'll be happy with socks and a towel because I don't give a sh*t. Menstrual Deranged 2,260 Posted December 8, 2017 I'm old so I am the one who does most of the giving these days, which is fine. I try to get my tween daughter things that she'll enjoy for a least a couple of months but it's hard. Honestly, I avoid getting her stuffed animals because they usually end up sitting in the corners while she plays the crap out of some game like Sims or Animal Jam or some random cellphone game. I imagine that in her older years, those neglected toys will become baskets of neglected laundry that needs to be folded if she's anything like me..haha. As for me, I like simple things. My husband's stepmom usually gets me things that I end up liking the most, like cozy slippers and fuzzy winter hats.
Guest Billy Russo Posted December 8, 2017 (edited) I don't expect anything anymore. I get happy when I receive socks, that's when I kind of gathered I'm getting a bit older I HATED socks as a kid. But now they are my favourite thing to get. I usually get some Chocolates & Shaving/Shower Gel too which comes in handy. I enjoy presents like this now I'm older. I usually get my dad some Whiskey or something that he'll enjoy over Christmas, he loves socks as well. My step-mum loves Chocolates, so that's easy.
