Taking into account setups and finales, what's your favourite online heist overall?

Humane...with the exception of 'Deliver EMP'. Oh the hours I've pissed away on that one with less than stellar crews.

Close between Prison Break and Humane Labs for me.

I voted Prison Break as I love the idea of busting someone out of jail, fighting my way out and the rush of getting to the airfield and escaping with all the explosions and chaos going on around me.

I like Prison Break and Humane labs equally, because of the story behind them, and how they tie in to the campaign. Both are equally fun to play, but Humane has the extra setup, plus it pays better overall.

Fleeca is ok for what it is - a tutorial. Series A feels more like a set of unrelated missions rather than a proper heist, and Pac Standard was pretty underwhelming as far as bank robberies go.

I choose Series A. I like the Coke setup on the yacht and Trash Truck is pretty fun. Plus, raiding the O'Neals, the stealthy mission against the Lost and the Balla shoot-out in Paleto seems more entertaining than following Vans around or picking up schedules at the police station.

Series A is much more equitable in terms of giving each player something interesting to do. In many of the other heists, if you're not in the right role your tasks can be pretty lackluster. All the missions have a gun battle/raid element and some even have the convoy-style chase element.

series a was a lot of driving trucks

Keep in mind that it's now late 2017, Heists came out in early 2015. In those 2.5 years we've had countless freeroam businesses based largely off of the gun-battle and convoy-chase formula that was the basis of Series A. I think current opinions of Series A would've been higher had Rockstar not used the same strategy over and over and over again in the time since.

Bonus points for Trevor's enthusiasm and Ron's drugged out wackiness. It was cool to take on the other criminal elements of the state on their behalf and see where that path ends. The final cut-scene sure beats creepy Uncle Lester.

Prison Break is the most dynamic heist imo.
But bad checkpoints.

I thought this was asking about favourite heist overalls. I was going to put "the blue ones, not green because you look like a bin man"

Fleeca.

I feel like more could have been done with it.

Prison Break, by miles - I'm aware that R* struggled with trying to make the single-player heist format work in a way that'd keep a team of four engaged as much as possible, and the Prison Break is (IMO) far and away the only one that really does that without the 'split up the team' stuff feel either contrived or unnecessary (random diversions for Demolition/Pilot in the finalé aside...), or just like four people doing a one-person job (lookin' at you, Series A...).

It's not entirely successful at that, sure - and there are bits in others that come close (Fleeca is mostly solid, too). But things like having two of the team steal the Casco while the others sneak into the police station in disguise really makes the whole thing feel like more than just a slightly-bigger contact mission - frankly, I reckon R* could have afforded to tweak the enemy spawns a bit, and have the Plane/Prison Bus set-ups run concurrently, too.

Humane Labs is something I'd love to do over and over despite having a ton of money.

The setups aren't that bad when you're with others that have mics, too.

It's hard to decide between Pac Standard and Humane Labs. Probably Humane Labs- it's so tightly crafted, and with a good team it runs like clockwork. Pac Standard isn't as well planned. Half the time it seems like they're just winging it, and doing things just to do them, like jumping off a cliff. In Humane Labs it all makes sense, and instead of everyone doing their own thing, you've got someone covering your back and you're covering theirs.

Fight for freedom

Definitely humane labs.

From the first setup misson until the actual heist, that thing looks like something straight out of a f*cking movie!

Humane Labs, even after that long drive to the Valkyrie and the repeated and repeated EMP deliver setup. It's the most fun out of all heists. Pacific Standard might be the one that gives you the most money, but it is not fun anymore. Hell, I don't think it was ever fun.

For me its Series A Funding, followed by Pacific Standard, Feeca Job, The Prison Break.

Don't get me wrong, Human Labs was fun, but it steered to far from heists and went more into sabotage/James Bond s**t. Perhaps this was the start of how GTAO turned into Saints Row Online.

I've somehow grown to love Deliver EMP even though I spent two full weeks filled with frustration trying to complete it with randoms.

Humane Labs. Deliver EMP has always been a b*tch to do with randoms. Hour upon hour wasted by RPG users and wannabe Rambos.

I remember my first play through, it was the first time all 4 of us did the setups and heist. We all went nuts when Danger Zone started playing after getting the Hydra.

Prison break. I've done it the most.

The Humane Labs raid is also really good, but I don't like the finale as much.

Humane labs raid for sure.

It's something about that heist that is so fun, yet so hard for people lacking any kind of tactics. From key codes to the final job, it's action packed, and actually requires a pretty good crew to get through it (in one try at least). I love staying back in Key codes and killing everybody back to back as my partners escape. I love flying the Valkyrie and maneuvering to get those good angles, and dodge missiles. It's the heist that actually felt fun and not like a chore.

Labs had the best missions but Series A had the best final cutscene; explains why Trevor is so attached to that toy in the story.
