So I got a shiny new console and all I want is one game to be patched to 4K/30 or 1080p/60. Surely this can be done as rockstar already have 4K pc assets and stuff. Even 1800p/30 will do Come on Rockstar!!!

Guess I was hoping they would wait for the X to release and maybe do both with a perhaps a dynamic resolution. Really don’t recognise Rockstar anymore. Feel like they used to do stuff for us gamers and put us first but right now they only do stuff for the dollars. Sad really...

On the plus side, X forces 16xAF so textures should appear better than before. But Rockstar's support of these games is generally Zero unless it's GTAO and graphics patches could be seen as giving an unfair advantage or some bullsh*t excuse.

Some games started getting pro support when x came out, for example witcher 3

 

So i guess they could add it now, could be use to promote RDR 2 2 somehow

Well it seems many games are being optimized for the new Xbox one X. What I'm wondering where does that leave us the ones that bought the Xbox One S 1TB Battlefield 1 - Early Enlister Deluxe Edition? Which I paid $500 only but a month ago?

Not happening bro. It would have been done by now with the PS4 Pro, that should have given you your answer right there. Shoulda just got a decent gaming PC, you'd have got all that and the chance to mod it.

 

GTA V was not optimized to make full use of the Xbox One X's or PS4 Pro's extra horsepower, it will only experience a slight boost in graphics and a smoother 30fps (which is what it is anyway). It's the more recent games that benefit from all that.

For the record NO gta v enhanced is NOT the only reason I bought an Xbox one x, that would be f*cking insane you're right. Infact Im playing wolfenstien 2 in 4K right now, so not a waste of money at all.

Just would be great to have GTA V enhanced as I feel it could really shine in 4K, just like it most definitely does on a high end PC.

But if it doesnt happen I can deal with it, wont lose any sleep.

There's a higher chance of Microsoft patching GTA IV and RDR on XB1X at this rate, as that stands a chance if happening, so you might soon be able to play those at a stable framerate and 4k.
